Marauder's Era: Remus Lupin x Hufflepuff! Reader {Part 2}

In Remus' arms, I lay on the sofa in the Gryffindor common room. He was pretty much asleep on his back with his one arm around my shoulders as I lay with my head on his shoulder and chest. Again, as usual he smelt of hot chocolate and his cologne. I sighed as I shifted to get comfortable, rolling onto my stomach and hooking my leg over his hips to the point where he had to pull my leg higher to rest on his waist, his hand resting on my thigh.

"Well well, Moony and (N/n), snuggling like kittens." Upon instinct, both Remus and I held a hand up displaying our middle fingers.

"It's like they're meant to be~" Sirius teased, shoving our legs out of the way and dropping into the seat as James dropped into another with Lily falling into his lap.

"Shut up, Sirius." I groaned, smiling softly when I felt Remus hug me a little tighter. "Full moon in three hours, by the way." I breathed, feeling Remus sigh.

"I forgot about that." I lightly rubbed his arm as he rest his head against mine, exhausted.

"Six months in, and you forget about the full moon...?" James slowly asked, earning a nod from my new-found boyfriend.

"She has that effect." I smiled softly as he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of my head.

"You're not scared you're going to hurt her?" Peter asked, causing Remus to look down at me a little in silence as I just tried to sleep.

"Yeah...more than anything..."

"I'll keep her in the castle." Lily smiled, resting against James, comfortable in his lap. Remus offered her a lazy smile.

"Cheers."

"You guys make it sound like I'm a liability." Everyone shared looks as I sat up.

"Love, you're a Hufflepuff..." Remus chuckled, pushing himself to sit up against the arm of the sofa.

"Exactly. I'm a Hufflepuff." I hissed, glaring at him. "We have a tendency to not put ourselves first, value others, and be there when people need us the most." I continued to glare as Remus just smiled, leaning back on his hands.

"Sweetheart," I innocently turned to my boyfriend. He had the sweetest smile on his lips. "I love you." I stared at him in surprise, but soon relaxed with a smile and a very quiet laugh.

"I love you too, Rem." I gently kissed his lips, my fingers lightly brushing his jaw. When I pulled away, there was this stupid smile on his lips. Within the months I had been with Sirius, he had never told me he loved me, and a few months ago Remus had said it for the first time, which had really caught me by surprise. He'd say it every now and then, not minding if I didn't say it back. Today, around our friends, was the first time I had ever said it back, which is why he had such a bright smile. He quickly took my face in his hands and littered my face in kisses as I laughed.

"They're so cute..." Lily sighed blissfully, cuddling into her boyfriend.

"Yeah..."
