Mortal Kombat: Fire and Ice

Part 3: Chapter 3

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: Victor walks around more as he talks.

Victor: You both did well to sneak in here undetected. I can see the symbol one of you bears. It is the mark of the Lin Kuei. I'm not surprised at all about your stealth capabilities.  The silent deadly nature of your clan is well renowned after all. However, even  a Lin Kuei stands zero chance of defeating me and the gifts I've been blessed with.

Smoke: What exactly are these "gifts"?

Victor: Perhaps if you're worthy,  I'll demonstrate the full extent of the powers gifted unto me. Now then, show me your skills.  Show me what a Lin Kuei,  an Enenra, is capable of.

Panel 2: Smoke and Jiri prepare themselves. Smoke moves first,  attempting to teleport and attack from the side. Victor slams his fist into Smokes stomach and kicks him away. Jiri tries to attack but takes a knee to the body for his troubles.  Victor uses his longer reach to keep them both at bay and prevent them from getting in close. Smoke takes a right head kick. Jiri gets pushed away with a teep.  The two brothers step back and attempt to figure out a way to get inside and negate the reach advantage.

Panel 3: Victor uses his long range weapons- jabs, crosses, long hooks,  teeps and kicks. His opponents are seemingly struggling to find a way past it, until Smoke slips a right hand and is able to get on the inside to land a left hook to the body.  Victor is only briefly fazed but it's long enough for Jiri to land a teleport uppercut. Smoke then lands a flying knee which is able to really affect Father Menendez.  The two of them proceed to unleash a combined assault, unrelenting as they attempt to take him down.

Panel 4: To the quite literal shock of both,  Victor discharges lightning from his body. The two get blasted away and they then narrowly avoid the acid that Victor shoots from his mouth.

Victor: Yes...you two are very strong indeed. Unfortunately I must take my leave for now. Our battle will resume at another time. I look forward to being able to test your abilities further. It brings me no joy to end our battle now but duty calls.

Jiri: You aren't going anywhere I'm afraid.

Panel 5: They go to attack- but are literally frozen in place by Victor.  He observes them for a bit before chanting and opening a portal that he steps through.  Once he leaves,  the brothers are unfrozen.

Smoke: So what now?

Jiri: Well, during our battle I managed to snag something.

Panel 6: Jiri pulls out the map from his pocket.

Jiri: While we were attacking him, I reached into his pocket and pulled this little useful thing out.

Smoke: Perfect! Let's take a look at it.

Panel 7: Jiri opens up the map and they both observe it. Smoke points out a section circled in red with the words " MAIN EARTHREALM LAB".

PAGE TWO

Panel 1: They look over the map carefully.

Jiri: Okay so this section on the left is where we are currently... you can see the outside of the factory building... and this place all the way on the right and to the North is the main lab then.  So we're gonna have to find a way there.

Smoke: Yeah.  Let's look around here, maybe we can find something else.  Like more information.

Panel 2: They both enter the room Victor came from and look around for anything useful.  They both find a diagram that depicts the layout of the factory, as well as a note that says " The research can found in the main lab.  Keep gathering the DNA and studying the way they fight".
