Taste me, I'm delicious

Bruno buttoned his shirt, running a hand through his hair as he dressed to go shopping with Jas. He couldn't help but feel a little jittery. He was so excited at the thought of doing something normal together. Something so casual. Where he'd get to find out what kind of crisps she liked best, or debate over flavours of ice cream. He couldn't wait to find out every little thing about her.

They'd been picked as a top-three couple. Each couple had to make a dish, and the other couples would vote for the best course. The winner would get a night in the hideaway.

God, he wanted to win that prize.

The way Jas had looked at him when Juliet read it out... he was glad that he had been sitting down. The blood rushed to his cock so quickly he felt like he could have passed out. Her eyes had almost immediately darkened and she bit her lip hungrily at him. He was still in absolute disbelief that she seemed to want him as much as he wanted her. It was some kind of weird chemical reaction between them, like she was an explosive element and he was... some element that reacted really strongly to that element. All she had to do was look at him and he was a goner.

He waited for Juliet to tell them which course they'd been assigned and punched the air in happiness when they were given dessert. He knew exactly what to make.

Jas was so excited she could barely zip her shorts. Was it weird that she felt so excited to be going grocery shopping with Bruno? She couldn't wait to have a normal time with him, holding his hand, knowing he was hers. She smiled to herself as she pictured him wanting to debate over ice cream flavours, or something silly like that. She was so excited.

She couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt as she looked over at Thabi, who was watching Valentina out of the corner of her eye. Jas was so relieved that Valentina hadn't picked Bruno, but she felt incredibly guilty that it had meant Thabi had been torn away from Will. She clearly liked him a lot.

Angie and Valentina started chatting about the seriousness of the shopping situation.

"I'm telling you, Valentina, you don't know a person until you've seen them try and pick a good mango"

"Oh Ange, I know. I bet Will's one of those people who fingers all the fruit, bruising them for everyone else."

Thabi piped up. "I don't like mangoes"

"What!" Angie gasped.

Angie, Valentina, and Thabi launched into a serious debate about whether or not Thabi was a psychopath because she didn't like mangoes. Jas silently agreed with Angie and Valentina that she was.

Eventually, they agreed to disagree, and Thabi shrugged. "Just keep it in mind, for your dessert, Jas!"

"No mangoes for Thabi got it."

"Nah, Jas is going to make me something chocolate-y. Something with Nutella in it." Angie looked at her, pleadingly. "Aren't you, Jas? For me? Your favourite? Little ol' Angie?"

Jas laughed. "I don't know, babe! I haven't spoken to Bruno about what he wants to make yet."

"How are you feeling about it, anyway, Jas? The challenge?" Juliet pressed

She smiled. "I'm almost more excited about going grocery shopping together"

A chorus of "Awwww" went around the room.

"Besides, I don't think Bruno's much of a cook."

"Mmmm... I don't know,'' Angie pressed her lips together. "I have a feeling he's going to be making a lot of effort to impress everyone"
