Freshly showered, and her face washed, Jas applied her makeup with a heavy hand. She felt like being a little harsher with her look today. She flicked a heavy line of eyeliner across her lids, but her anger made her hand shake, and it wobbled.

Fuck.

She dug around for a makeup wipe, cleaning off the eyeliner.

Then, she tried again, this time doing her eyeliner first. She got the first eye perfect, and then as she moved her hand to do her other eye, smudged it everywhere. She wiped it off again, and steadied herself, knowing that the chances of her getting it right now that she was overthinking it were slim to none.

Jas looked up just as Valentina walked in. Valentina shot her a sad look, and Jas shot one back.

"Jas, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I should have put a stop to it. I don't have an excuse or an explanation for why I didn't. I got caught up in the excitement of the gossip and I really am sorry."

Jas stood up, wrapping her arms around Valentina. "Honestly, babe, after the shit you've had to put up with on my behalf over the last 24 hours... I can't believe you're the first one to apologise out of the four. I wouldn't blame you if you hated me."

"I could never hate you, babe. And I'm sorry about Tom, before, too. I'm sure he'll apologise. I think he's trying to blame someone other than me for us fighting yesterday. And he's scared of Dylan... so..."

"Are you guys okay?"

Valentina sighed. "Yeah. Honestly, he just... he got really worried yesterday. It freaked him out."

Jas slipped her hand into Valentina's. "I'm sorry. I really am. I'm so sorry for Dylan throwing you under the bus. And I will forever appreciate what you tried to help Bruno do for me. I'm just so sorry that you got dragged into this because of it."

Valentina squeezed her hand. "It might have actually been a bit of a blessing, babe." she blushed furiously.

Angie, Cora, and Tiff came over. "What! What! What happened!"

"Me and Tom were both kind of thinking that we were just a bit of fun. But... I think last night kind of surprised us both. We were fighting about him not trusting me, and we had a moment where I was like "why do you even care? You told me when we first coupled up that it was never going to be more than just a bit of fun" and he just yelled "that was before I realised how bloody amazing you are!"

She blushed furiously. The girls squealed in delight.

"So what happened?!"

Valentina covered her face in her hands, grinning like a schoolgirl. "We.... um... we're exclusive."

Jas threw her arms around Valentina, screaming. "I'm so thrilled for you babe."

"I know! I know! I'm so bloody excited. He's honestly the sweetest thing. He's such a bloody gentleman, and he looks at me like I'm the sexiest thing he's ever seen. He's just.... urgh. He's bloody wonderful."

The girls awwwwwwed.

"God, I'm going to have to get cracking." Tiff laughed.

Jas's eyes darted to Cora, whose face immediately fell. It seemed like everyone had the same thought.

"Way to kill the mood, babe." Cora chuckled.

Almost as if he'd been summoned, there was a knock at the door. Cora opened it slightly, and Jas saw Will standing there.

"Hey... um... can we talk?"

"Me? Or Tiff?"

"Um... you."
