After everyone had calmed down for the night, Bruno found himself in the kitchen, desperately wanting to speak to Jas. He wanted to check that she was actually okay. Cora was right. Something had been well off with her.
But he just wasn't 100% sure what. He wished he could write some stuff down. Get his head straight. Check-in with Jas about how she was feeling.
They weren't allowed to have pens or paper in the villa, it could lead to note-passing, which the cameras couldn't pick up. They didn't like it. He had to make do.
Cora tapped him on the shoulder.
"What's wrong?"
"Hmm?" he responded. "Oh, nothing."
"You've been writing something on the countertop with your finger for a good five minutes, staring off into space. What's. Wrong?"
He laughed. "Just wish I could write some stuff down, get my head straight. But we don't have paper. Or Pens."
"Correction, you don't have pens. I have pens"
He gasped. She ran upstairs and came back down with a small tube.
"It's a lip liner. I brought it with me, but I'm not sure why, because I hate this shade. I officially deem it yours ."
He hugged her, looking around the kitchen. She handed him a roll of toilet paper she'd brought down for him. He just looked at her warmly, shaking his head a little in disbelief. She was such a good mate.
He wandered for a little while, trying to find somewhere that no one would bother him, or ask why he was mucking about with a skinny lipstick and a roll of toilet paper. He settled on the area behind the couch, untouched by anyone except the vacuum, and slipped behind it. He looked around the corners of the room and found that not one of the cameras was pointed at him.
A blind spot!
He kicked himself for not finding it when he and Jas had been together. It could have proven very useful.
He settled in there, lying on his side, propped up on his elbow, hoping no one would see him for a while. He just wanted some space. A tiny bit of privacy. To try and remember all the things he needed to tell her.
Number one: He and Cora weren't interested in each other.
That would be the biggest news... right? He hoped so. At least then she would be able to make her decision with all the information. What else?
Number two: He had seen Cora naked, and they had kissed. That was also big news. Probably best she finds that out from him and not from Cora or Will. He wrote it down. The lip liner kept catching on the toilet paper, ripping it slightly.
What else...?
Number three: Juliet knew Tom, and she was trying to break them up. That was definitely something she needed to know. He wasn't sure if Tom had told her the full story, but she needed a heads up.
Number four: She was the best thing that had ever happened to him, and he wanted to be with her and her alone.
He shuffled a little, accidentally tearing one of the sheets of toilet paper in half. Damn . He picked it up, and tried to smooth it back out, but ripped it in half again.
" Aw, crap ."
He heard someone gasp. "...Bruno? Is that you? Where are you?"
It was Jas.
