YOU WERE JUST CHILLING WITH HERMIONE IN THE GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM ON FRIDAY NIGHT WHEN RON, GINNY AND SOME OTHERS CAME STUMBLING INTO THE ROOM.
you raise an eyebrow.
"what happened to you?" harry questions, ron looked distraught.
they seat him on the lounge.
"he just asked fleur delacour out"
your eyes go wide, you all rush over.
"what?"
"what did she say?"
"no, of course" hermione says.
ron shakes his head, you gasp, "she said yes?!"
"don't be silly. there she was, walking by. you know how i like it when they walk. i couldn't help it. it just sort of slipped out" he says weakly.
"actually, he sort of screamed at her. it was a bit frightening" ginny says.
"and what did you do then?" harry asks.
"what else? i ran for it. i'm not cut out for this, harry. i don't know what got into me"
you glance at parvati and padma as they walk by, "hi, harry"
"i always liked looking at them from behind. she's never gonna forgive me, ever"
you blink, "well, to be fair.. i don't think you're ever really going to talk to her again.."

AND NOW IT WAS THE WEEKEND AND YOU AND HERMIONE HAD STRAYED OFF FROM HARRY AND RON AT HOGSMEADE TO GO DRESS SHOPPING.
you had 'convinced' *cough. threatened* the dursleys' to sign yours and harry's hogsmeade slips which they had finally done, so you were both free to go to hogsmeade.
the boys looked confused when you both said you were going off but shrugged it off.
you and hermione giggle to each other.
you point around the corner, "come on, this way"
after a while, you reach a small boutique, in the windows were the most beautiful dresses you had ever seen.
you and hermione look at them in awe, pushing the door open and relishing in the warmth of the heater.
it was larger on the inside, walls of display dresses could be seen racked along every inch of the place, it was majestic.
you and hermione browse through the dresses, after a long while, you had both picked out dresses and paid for them , also had them wrapped up in boxes so the boys couldn't see.
you sigh out dreamily as you both exit the store, "oh, they're beautiful!"
hermione nods, "we have to try them on when we get back to hogwarts! i brought a camera with me from home so we can take a photo and i can show my parents when we go back" she smiles.
you nod, "we'll go to my dorm, the girl i share it with is always with the others so there'll be no one in there"
you both smile broadly as you meet up again with the boys, ron looks between you both in confusion, "what's got you both so cheery?"
you both glance at each other, giggling.
you grin, "nothing~!"
