Fishing With A Friend

            Mitch and Typhlosion walk towards Olivine Beach so they can cross the ocean in order to get to Cianwood City. As they near the water, they hear a familiar voice shouting from the west end of the beach ( it's a more rocky area), " Furret, use another Quick Attack!" They turn just in time to see a ferret-like Pokémon slam into a Pokémon that looks like a walking piece of pink coral. " Solaaa," it mumbles as it stumbles backwards from the attack. " I don't think I've seen either of those Pokémon before," he says as he pulls out his Pokédex. " Furret, the Long Body Pokémon, a Normal-type, the evolved form of Sentret, it makes a nest to suit its long and skinny body. The nest is impossible for other Pokémon to enter. Corsola, the Coral Pokémon, clusters of Corsola congregate in warm seas where they serve as ideal hiding places for smaller Pokémon. When the water temperature falls, this Pokémon migrates to the southern seas."

           The tired looking Furret returns to its original position and begins to pant as the Corsola shakes off the pain from the Quick Attack. Mitch finally looks up and sees the trainer that is commanding the Furret, it's Alexandra, with a fishing pole laying on the ground next to her. " Don't give up yet, Furret! Use Focus Blast," she hollers. " Furrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeet," it screams while a big ball of yellow energy forms between its hands. " Reeeettt," it groans as it throws the Focus Blast towards Corsola. Corsola eagerly grins and its body becomes outlined by a pink aura. The Focus Blast bounces off of Corsola's Mirror Coat and returns to Furret, exploding in its face and knocking it against a nearby rock. " Furrrrr," it whimpers as spirals appear in its eyes. " Cor, Cor, Corsola," Corsola proudly shouts before walking into the sea as a melancholy looking Alexandra recalls Furret to its Poké Ball. However, upon seeing Mitch, a gleeful smile comes on her face. " Mitch! How have you been," she happily shouts.

                    " So, Jasmine uses Steel-types? Noted," Alexandra, she and Mitch have sat down on the rocks in order to talk, says as Mitch shows her his Mineral Badge. " So, what have you been up to," Mitch says while sliding his badge case into his backpack. " Well, after losing to Entei at the Burned Tower, I made my way here to Olivine City and was planning to take on the gym, but after hearing about the gym in Cianwood City, I decided to go there first. It was a hard fight, but I managed to beat Chuck and after that, I decided to come back here to Olivine to challenge Jasmine. That is, until I found out that there's a large population of Corsola in the waters around Olivine. I decided to catch one before challenging the gym, but I've had no luck so far." " Well, would you like some company until you manage to catch one," Mitch says as he pulls out his fishing pole. " You bet," she replies with a smile.

                     " Karp, Karp, Magikarp, Karp," A Magikarp mumbles as Alexandra reels it in. " I already have a Gyarados back at Oak's lab. What about you?" " I don't think I have the patience to train a Magikarp," Mitch says as he rubs the back of his head and Alexandra tosses the Magikarp back into the sea. Suddenly, Mitch gets a bite on his pole and pulls in a Pokémon that both he and Alexandra are unfamiliar with. " Raid, Raid, Remo, Remo, Raid, Remo," it shouts as it jumps off of Mitch's pole and lands in the shallow water with an angry look on its face. " Remoraid, the Jet Pokémon, a Water-type, also known as the "sniper of the seas," its water squirts can hit prey without fail from over 300 feet away." " Remooooooooo," it shouts as it fires a medium sized beam of light that has the same color scheme as the Aurora Borealis from its mouth. " Ahhhhhhhhhh," Mitch cries out as the Aurora Beam slams into his chest and knocks him back a couple of feet. " Are you okay," Alexandra shouts in a worried tone whilst running over to him and helping him up.
