Mitch's Johto Journey

Silver Conference: Round 1

   " It's time for the next match of Round 1 of this Silver Conference to begin," an announcer loudly exclaims before an extremely large crowd cheers. A field of giant skyscrapers with a large city square rises up out of the stadium ground. " And it looks like this match will be fought on a City Battlefield! And it would appear that are competitors are arriving, in the left corner we have Harry Holland from Azalea Town and in the right corner we have Mitch Harper from Pallet Town," the announcer yells as Mitch and Harry take their places. The jumbo trons begin to rapidly switch between a large image of Harry's face and Mitch's face before eventually stopping on Harry's face. " Harry is getting the first move in this match! Begin the battle!" 

  " Heracross, let's get revenge on this guy for humiliating us in our last battle," Harry yells whilst throwing a Quick Ball into the air. " Cross, Cross, Hera, Heracross," his Shiny Heracross yells as it lands in the city square and punches the air. " I figured you would use that! That's why I brought Noctowl to this battle," Mitch hollers while tossing a Poké Ball into the sky. " Noct, Noct, Noctowl, Owl," it hoots whilst hovering a few feet in the air above Heracross. " Use Focus Punch," Harry yells as Heracross' right fist glows white and it jumps towards Noctowl. " Calm Mind," Mitch yells as Noctowl closes its eyes and its head begins outlined in a pink aura. " Nooooct," it groans as Heracross punches it and knocks it out of the air, it lands on the ground with a loud thud. " Just sitting back and letting us win are ya," Harry says with a smirk. " Nope! Just making sure this hurts a much as possible! Use Hurricane," Mitch exclaims as Noctowl quickly flies back into the air and uses its wings to blow a large cloud of wind at Heracross. " Quick, use Endure," Harry shouts as the Hurricane nears Heracross. " Herrraa," it grumbles before it braces itself against the ground and its body flashes white.

  " Croooooooooooossssssssss," Heracross loudly screams as the Hurricane winds slam into its body, only managing to stay conscious because of Endure. " Use Close Combat," Harry hollers before Heracross jumps at Noctowl and begins to rapidly and repeatedly kick, punch, and strike it with its horn. " Noooooooccc," it screeches as the last horn strike knocks it against one of the skyscrapers, but it manages to fly back up before it hits the ground. " Psychic," Mitch whispers as Noctowl's eyes glow pink and it picks Heracross off the ground with telekinesis. " Croooooosss," Heracross cries as Noctowl uses the telekinesis to slam it into the base of one of the skyscrapers. " Herrraaa" it groans as it lies slumped against the skyscraper and spirals form in its eyes. " Heracross easily takes the defeat! Mitch is showing off just how much having a massive type advantage can help you in a battle," the announcer shouts whilst Harry returns Heracross to its Quick Ball. 

 " Electabuzz, these people like type advantage, so I say we give the people what they want," Harry exclaims before throwing a Poké Ball into the air. " Buzz, Buzz, Electa, Buzz, Electabuzz," it hollers whilst making some electricity static throughout multiple parts of its body. " Use Shock Wave," he hollers as Electabuzz slams both of its hands down on the ground, sending a wave made of electricity at Noctowl. " Nooooooooccccccttt," it cries as the wave hits it and knocks it out of the sky. " Now use Wild Charge," Harry commands before Electabuzz's body becomes engulfed in transparent electricity. " Eeeeeeeeleeeeeeeeectaaaaaaa," it loudly yells as it rushes at the still recovering Noctowl. " Fling it backwards with Psychic," Mitch yells before Noctowl manages to use its telekinesis to push Electabuzz back against one of the skyscrapers, forcing it to end Wild Charge. " Owwwlll," it weakly hoots as it manages to weakly fly back into the air. " Use Air Slash," Mitch shouts before Noctowl uses its wings to send a long and sharp wave of wind at Electabuzz, who has just recovered from being slammed against the skyscraper.  " Thunder Punch that attack and then use Thunder," Harry yells as Electabuzz's right fist becomes coated in electricity and it punches the Air Slash, destroying it. A large lightning bolt falls out of the sky and is absorbed into Electabuzz's tail. " Eleeeeeectaaaaaaaaaaa," it screams whilst firing the lightning bolt out of its chest. " Nooooooooocccccc," Noctowl screams as the lightning bolt severely shocks it and causes it to fall out of the sky. " Oooowllll," it whispers as spirals appear in its eyes. 

  " Noctowl goes down! Harry really knew what he was doing when he brought out Electabuzz and even though Mitch did his best to counter it, it just wasn't enough," the announcer yells. " Going to give up and go cry somewhere now," Harry mocks whilst Mitch puts Noctowl back in its ball. " Nope! I actually figured that you would use Electabuzz in this battle too, so that's why I brought this Pokémon," Mitch shouts before throwing a ball at the city square. " Don, Phan, Phan, Donphan," Donphan trumpets before using its trunk to wave at the crowd, a lot of them wave back. Harry and Electabuzz both angrily grit their teeth upon seeing the Ground-type. " What! Do you think we don't have ways to deal with Ground-types! You're wrong! Use Mega Punch," Harry exclaims. " Buuuuuuuzzzzz," it hollers as its right fist briefly glows white and it runs at Donphan. " Phaaaaaaaannnnnn," Donphan cries as Electabuzz punches it in the face. " Do it again," Harry orders as Electabuzz pulls back its fist in preparation for the attack. " Use Horn Attack,"  Mitch commands as both of Donphan's tusks glow white and it uses them to stab Electabuzz in the chest, making it stumble backwards and halt its attempt to use Mega Punch. " Now use Earthquake," he exclaims as Donphan's body becomes outlined by a dark brown aura. " Phaaaaaaaaannnnn," it yells as it rears up and then slams both of its front legs down on the ground, sending a powerful tremor at Electabuzz. " Eleeeeectaaaaa," it yells as the tremor slams into it and knocks it several feet off the ground. " Buzzzzzz," it cries as it lands back on the ground with spirals in its eyes. 

   " And with that, Harry has been brought down to his final Pokémon! Will it be strong enough to take down the two Pokémon that Mitch still has remaining," the announcer asks after Harry recalls Electabuzz. " Oh, It is! This won't be my only battle in this tournament! Exeggutor, let's prove it to them," Harry screams while throwing a Great Ball. " Tor, Tor, Exeg, Tor," they yell as they land in the city. " Seed Bomb," Harry commands as Exeggutor fires a seed of green energy out of the center of the palm on their head. " We'll counter with Seed Bomb," Mitch hollers whilst Donphan shoots the same attack out of its trunk. The two moves collide and explode on contact. " Use Wood Hammer," Harry exclaims as the palm on Exeggutor's head glows bright green and shape shifts into the end of a hammer. " Exeeeeeeeeeegggg," they screams as they jump forward and slam the hammer into Donphan's side. " Phaaaaaaaannnnnn," it screams as it is knocked against one of the skyscrapers by the Super Effective attack. While Exeggutor suffers through the Wood Hammer Recoil Damage, Donphan manages to stand back up. " Use Ice Shard," Mitch yells as a still wobbly Donphan fires a small beam of ice from its mouth. " Toooooooooorrrrrrr," Exeggutor, who has just recovered from Wood Hammer, cries as they are pushed back a couple of inches by the Ice Shard. " We're not losing this! Use Extrasensory," Harry shouts before Exeggutor fires a large, circular beam of rainbow colored energy out of the mouth of their center head. " Doooooonnnn," Donphan groans as the attack hits it and causes it to fall over on its left side. " Phaaan," it whimpers before spirals appear in its eyes.  

  " Harry's Exeggutor evens this battle back up, but can it really defeat the Pokémon that Mitch still has left like he claimed it could," the announcer exclaims as Mitch sends Donphan back to its Poké Ball. " Oh, it will be able to to! He should really just go ahead and surrender," Harry gloats as Mitch grins. " Are you sure about that," he says before throwing a Poké Ball. " Tyyyyyyyyyphloooooooooosioooooooooon," Typhlosion roars as it lands in the battlefield and ignites its neck flame. " You can't be serious," Harry groans as both he and Exeggutor both get nervous looks on all of their faces. " Oh, we're definitely seriously! Use Overheat," Mitch shouts as Typhlosion's body starts to glow bright red. " Looooooooooosiooooooonnnnn," it roars as it releases a stream of white fire with red-orange flames surrounding it from its mouth. " Tooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr," Exeggutor screams as the attack slams into them. " Exxxegg," they groan before falling over on their back with spirals in all of their eyes. " And that's it! Mitch wins the battle thanks to the immense strength of his Typhlosion and will be moving on to round two," the announcer shouts whilst a red faced Harry recalls Exeggutor and rushes out of the stadium.
