Full Battle at the Lake of Rage ( Part 3)

   The anxious look on Joe's face quickly changes to slight anger and then to confidence. " I think you already know who my final Pokémon is and you also know that it's more than capable of taking down the three losers that you have left! Feraligatr, get out here," he shouts before throwing the Poké Ball into the air. " Feraaaaaaaaaaaaaa," it loudly roars as it lands on the ground and shoots a small stream of water into the air. At first, Croconaw is terrified at the sight of its evolved form, but it quickly shakes that feeling away and gets into a battle stance. " Looks like your trainer's overconfidence is starting to rub off on you," Joe mocks as Feraligatr chuckles a little. 

    "It's now three versus one and you're gloating about how you can easily still win, but I'm the overconfident one? Yeah, I think its time we ended this battle! Use Blizzard," Mitch shouts as Croconaw opens its mouth and fires a big blast of giant snow flurries from its mouth. " Well, at least we can agree on the fact that this battle is about to end! Ice Beam," Joe yells before Feraligatr fires a medium sized beam of ice from its mouth. The two Ice-type moves collide and end up cancelling each other out, causing everyone present to grit their teeth in frustration. " Dragon Claw," both trainers shout at the same time whilst the claws on Croconaw and Feraligatr's right hands glow purple. " Naaaawww," " Gaaaaaaaaaatr" they shout whilst slamming their claws together. However it quickly becomes clear that Feraligatr's Dragon Claw is superior, it overpowers Croconaw and gives it a powerful slice across the chest.  " Naaaaaaaaaawwww," it yells as it is knocked through the air by the attack and lands a couple of inches in front of a tree. " Crooccc," it groans whilst trying to get back to its feet. " Take it out with Aqua Tail," Joe shouts as Feraligatr quickly coats its tail in water and slams it against Croconaw's back, knocking it face first into the tree. Croconaw falls to the ground and lies motionless for several seconds before spirals appear in its eyes.

   " That's 4 down and 2 to go plus Feraligatr hasn't taken any damage yet! This battle is mine," Joe gloats as Mitch recalls Croconaw.  " Whatever you say, Ursaring, you're getting another turn," Mitch yells whilst throwing a Poké Ball. " Ursaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," Ursaring, whose eyes are still glowing bright red because of Guts, loudly roars as it gets into a battle stance. " Hammer Arm," Mitch yells before Ursaring's right arm glows white and shape shifts into the end of a hammer. " Dragon Claw," Joe hollers whilst Feraligatr's right claws glow purple and it slams them against Ursaring's Hammer Arm. The Attack boost that Ursaring gets from Guts means that it is the superior one in this clash, it pushes Dragon Claw aside and slams Feraligatr across the jaw with Hammer Arm. " Feraaaaaaaaaaaaa," it screams as it stumbles backwards and holds its throbbing jaw whilst Ursaring takes Poison damage. " Your pathetic Ursaring might have an Attack boost from its stupid ability, but that Poison means we still have the advantage! Use Surf!" " Gaaaaaaaaaaatr," Feraligatr shouts as it starts to summon the wave. 

   " Yeah, that's not happening! Stop it from attacking by using Sweet Scent and then use Slash," Mitch exclaims. " Urrrr," Ursaring growls before releasing some pink powder from its left palm. " Ferrrraaa," Feraligatr whispers as it breathes in the powder and goes into a relaxed state, which prevents it from completing Surf. Whilst Feraligatr's body flashes pink to show that its evasiveness has been decreased, the claws on Ursaring's right paw glow white and extend by a few inches. " Ursaaaaaaaa," it roars as it takes some Poison damage and then slices Feraligatr across the face with its attack. " Feraaaaaaaaaaaaa," it cries as it stumbles a few feet back and almost falls to the ground. " Enough of this! Use Hydro Cannon," Joe shouts as Feraligatr's body begins to glow bright blue. " Feeeeeeeeeeeraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaliiiiiiiigaaaaaaaatrrrr," it loudly cries whilst releasing an extremely large stream of water from its mouth. " Ursaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," Ursaring roars in a pained tone as the powerful attack slams into it and knocks it back several feet. It lands on its chest next to Mitch and tries to get back up, but Poison damage quickly takes out what little health it has left. " Riiiiingg," it whimpers as spirals appear in its eyes. 

   " Well, looks like only Typhlosion is left, we've got this," Joe says as Mitch recalls Ursaring and Feraligatr goes into Recharge mode. " Show them what we got," Mitch says to Typhlosion as it nods, walks forward, and ignites its neck flame. " You've made you're already weakened Feraligatr extremely vulnerable! Bad move from you! Use Shadow Claw!" " Whatever! Feraligatr can handle a couple of hits and then easily take out that loser Typhlosion," Joe says whilst Typhlosion slices Feraligatr across the face with its shadow engulfed right paw. " Gaaaaaattt," Feraligatr mumbles whilst wincing and almost falling down to all fours. " I think you're about to regret those words. Use Aerial Ace," Mitch hollers as Typhlosion jumps high into the air and its body becomes surrounded by several streaks of white energy.  " Looooooosioooooon," it exclaims as it quickly descends and slams into Feraligatr's back at a high speed. " Feraaaaaaaaaaaaaa," it cries as it is slammed down extremely hard in the dirt, leaving a slight indentation. 

    It takes several minutes, but Feraligatr slowly recovers and gets back to its feet, but it still remains a little wobbly. " Told you we could handle it! Use Liquidation," Joe hollers as a sword made of water materializes in Feraligatr's right hand. " Fffffffffeeeeerrrrr," it grunts as it slowly walks towards Typhlosion with the sword outstretched, stumbling all the way. " Time to finish this! Use Blast Burn," Mitch shouts as Typhlosion's body and eyes start to glow crimson red and the flame on its neck doubles in size. " Tyyyyyyyyyyyyyphlooooooooosioooooooon," it screams whilst releasing an extremely large stream of blue fire from its mouth. The powerful Fire-type attack slams into Feraligatr, vaporizing the Liquidation sword on contact, and pushes it backwards whilst it screams on pain, " Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrraaaaaaaaaaaaa!" It lands on its back in front of Joe with several large scorch marks covering its body. " Gaaatt," it groans as spirals appear in its eyes and Joe stares in shock and disbelief. Without a word, Joe returns Feraligatr to its Poké Ball and disappears into the forested area next to the lake whilst Mitch and Typhlosion look on.
