The Evolution Store

 " Welcome to BOMSEIS!( Base of Mt. Silver Evolution Item Store) Can we help you," a man at a reception counter asks as Mitch and Typhlosion walk up to it. " Yeah, could I please get a Linking Cord, a Dragon Scale, a Leaf Stone, a Sun Stone, a Moon Stone, and a Water Stone," he asks whilst looking at a list he has written on a piece of paper. " Of course," the man says with a smile before going to retrieve the requested items.

  Mitch and Typhlosion now stand a few feet outside the store as Mitch throws a Poké Ball into the air. " Gloo, Gloo, Gloom," Gloom grumbles while appearing in front of them. " Okay Gloom, you're first on today's agenda and you're actually a special case," he says as the Weed Pokémon gets a look on curiosity on its face. " You actually get two options for evolution! You can take this Sun Stone and become a Bellossom ( he shows it an image of Bellossom on the Pokédex) or you can take this Leaf Stone and become a Vileplume.( he shows it an image of Vileplume too) I'll let you decide," he says whilst holding out both stones. " Gloooooooooooooooooo," Gloom whispers as it thinks over the decision. Eventually, it makes its decision: it places its hand on the Leaf Stone, causing its body to be engulfed in a blinding white light. " Vile, Vile, Vileplume, Vile," the Vileplume in Gloom's place happily shouts as the glowing stops and it begins to twirl around. " Alright, guess I'll save this other one for another time," he says before putting the Sun Stone ( the Leaf Stone disappeared after Gloom touched it) in his backpack.

   " Hhhhhhaunt, Ter, Hhhhaunter, Haunter," Mitch's Haunter cackles as it comes out of its Poké Ball and floats in front of him. " I believe you can use this," he says as he hands it the Linking Cord. " Teeerrr," it shouts as it grabs the cord and begins to twist it around. After several seconds, the Linking Cord disappears and Haunter begins to glow in the blinding white light. " Ggggggengaaaaarrr," Mitch's Gengar maniacally laughs before sensing the presence of something in Mitch's backpack. " Oh, yeah, that," he says as it opens his backpack, pulls out the Gengarite necklace, and places it over Gengar's body. " Okay Gengar, Mega Evolve," he exclaims whilst pressing two fingers against his Key Stone Bracelet, making both the Key Stone and the Gengarite in the necklace brightly glow. " Geeeeeeeeeeengaaaaaaarrrr," it loudly screams whilst its body becomes encased in a multi-colored opaque ball. " Ggggggengggggar," Mega Gengar cackles as the ball disappears from its body and it briefly teleports to another dimension before returning after several seconds pass.

  " Up next is Nidorino," Mitch shouts before tossing a Safari Ball into the air. " Nido, Nido, Nidorino, Rino," he yells as he appears in front of Mitch. " Ready to become royalty," he asks whilst holding the Moon Stone out to him. " Niiiidooo," he says with a grin before pressing his horn against the stone, making its body become engulfed in the white light. " Kiiiiiiiiinggggg," Nidoking loudly roars after the glowing stops. He then tops over to a nearby tree and shows off his new strength by breaking the tree down with one swipe of his tail.

  " It's your turn, Shellder," he yells while pressing the open button on the Poké Ball. " Shell, Der, Shell, Shell," it happily cries as Mitch pulls out the Water Stone. Upon seeing the stone, Shellder's eyes begin to glisten and it quickly jumps up and pokes the stone with its tongue. " Shell," it shouts as it lands on the ground and its body glows white. " Cloy, Cloy, Cloyster, Cloy," Cloyster shouts as it sits in Shellder's place." Wow, you were really eager," he says as it grins.

  " And last but not least, Seadra, I choose," he hollers whilst letting the Water-type out of her ball. " Dra, Sea, Dra, Dra, Seadra," she shouts as she lands in a small stream next to the store. " The Pokédex classifies you as the Dragon Pokémon even though you aren't a Dragon-type, but you can become one with this," he explains before showing it the Dragon Scale. " Are you up for it," he asks as she nods. " Seaaa," she whispers as Mitch touches the side of her body with the Dragon Scale, making Seadra glow white. " King, King, Dra, Kingdra, King," she yells before firing a stream of water into the air.

  Mitch finishes putting some stuff in his backpack before putting it on his back and standing up from the crouching position he was in. " Okay, now that every Pokémon I have is fully evolved ( Annihilape, Lickilicky, Rhyperior, Ambipom, Mismagius, and Gliscor do not exist in Kanto or Johto so Primeape, Lickitung, Rhydon, Aipom, Misdreavus, and Gligar are technically fully evolved), it's time for us to get to the top of this mountain," he says as he and Typhlosion look up at Mt. Silver.
