Mitch's Johto Journey

Silver Conference: Round 3

  " It's time for our next battle of Round 3 here on the Forest Battlefield," the announcer hollers whilst the audience shrieks and a battlefield with a large forest, a long and wide line( which stretches from both sides) that leads to a large circular area splits the forest into two halves, is pulled up from beneath the stadium. " And here come our trainers that will be battling on this arena, we have Mitch Harper from Pallet Town in the Left Corner and Izzy Ferguson from Ecruteak City in the Right Corner," he yells as Mitch and Izzy strut up to their sides of the battlefield. " You may have won our last two battles, but those were both one on one matches, let's see if you can take me down when I can use more than one Pokémon," Izzy says as the jumbo trons begin to switch between images of their faces. " Oh, this is definitely going to be fun," Mitch replies before the jumbo trons stop on a image of Izzy's face. " Izzy is going first in this battle, so let's get it started!"

  " Piloswine, let's get wild," Izzy howls while hurling a Poké Ball at the circular area in the battlefield. " Swine, Pilo, Swine, Swine, Piloswine," it oinks as it appears on the side of the area. " So that little Swinub I battled has evolved! Neat! Rapidash, you get the first turn," Mitch exclaims before slinging a Safari Ball into the circular area. " Dash, Dash, Rapidash," it neighs while pawing at the dirt with the hoof on its left front leg. " Piloswine isn't so little anymore! Use Earthquake," she shouts as Piloswine's body becomes outlined by a dark brown aura and it rears up on its behind. " Piiiiiiiiiillllooooo," it squeals as it slams its body back down on the ground, sending a powerful tremor in Rapidash's direction. Rapidash tries to jump over the tremor, but its back two legs end up getting caught by it. " Daaash," it whines as it is knocked over on its back. " Use Stone Edge while it's down," she yells before Piloswine summons a bunch of grey rectangular stones with sharp tips and sends them at the downed Rapidash. " Roll out of the way and then use Flamethrower," Mitch hollers as Rapidash rolls over on its stomach, making the Stone Edge miss, and releases a medium sized stream of fire from its mouth. " Pilooooooo," it squeals as the flames hit it in the face. 

  " Use Flame Charge," Mitch orders as Rapidash gets to its feet and its body becomes surrounded by translucent fire. " Ddddaaash," it neighs whilst running at Piloswine and slamming into it. " Swiiiiiiiineeeeee," it yells as it is pushed back against one of the trees. " Use Ice Fang," Izzy commands as Piloswine coats its teeth in ice, jumps toward Rapidash, and powerfully bites down on its neck. " Raaaaaaaappp," it cries whilst trying to get Piloswine to release its grip. " Use Flamethrower," he shouts as Rapidash shoots the attack out of its mouth. While the attack doesn't hit Piloswine, the heat from it makes it let go and scoot several feet away. " Use a Mud Bomb," she hollers before Piloswine spits a big ball of mud from its mouth. " Daaaaaash," Rapidash whines as the attack explodes at the top of one of its back legs. " Now use Giga Impact!" " Piiiiiiiiiiiiilooooooooswiiiiiiiiiinnne," it screams as its body becomes engulfed in a bright white energy before it stampedes towards Rapidash. " Well, if you're going all out, so are we! Use Flare Blitz," Mitch exclaims as Rapidash's body becomes surrounded by translucent blue fire. " Raaaaaaaaaaaapiiiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaash," it loudly neighs as it runs forward and slams into the incoming Piloswine. " Swiiiiiiiine," " Raaaaaaapiiiii," they both cry out as the collision of their attacks causes an explosion. It takes several minutes, but the smoke from the explosion blows away, revealing Rapidash and Piloswine lying side by side with spirals in their eyes. ( the fur around Piloswine's eyes were was pushed upwards by the explosion and its small, beady eyes can be seen)

   " What an explosive start! A double knockout right off the bat! Will Mitch and Izzy continue to be evenly matched or will one of the gain the lead in the next battle!"  " Xatu, let's go crazy," Izzy shouts as she recalls Piloswine and throws out another Poké Ball. " Xa, Xa, Tu, Xatu," it whispers as it appears in the circular area with a stoic look on its face. " Feraligatr, it's your turn," Mitch as he puts Rapidash's Safari Ball in his pocket and sends another ball he had in his other pocket into the air. " Fera, Gat, Gat, Fera, Feraligatr," Feraligatr, who was awoken by Mitch just before he walked on to the battlefield, roars as it quickly gets into a battle stance. " Use Dazzling Gleam," Izzy commands as Xatu opens its wings and releases six beams of pink energy from the eye shapes on its chest ( three beams from each eye shape) " Trrrrrrrrrrrrrr," Feraligatr groans as the beams push it against one of the trees at the edge of the forest. " Now Pluck," Izzy giggles as Xatu's beak glows white and extends by several inches. " Tu, Tu," it whispers as it quickly flies forward and powerfully pokes Feraligatr on the head with its beak. " Ferraa," Feraligatr grunts in an annoyed tone whilst rubbing the top of its head. " Blizzard," Mitch yells as Feraligatr opens its mouth and releases a very large amount of giant snowflakes. " Xaaaaaaatttt," Xatu cries as the attack slams it against a tree on the opposite side of the Forest Battlefield. 

   " Now use Hydro Pump," Mitch orders as the spine on Feraligatr's head briefly flashes blue before it releases a large stream of water from its mouth. " Use Protect followed by Teleport and Pluck," Izzy barks as a clear, protective bubble appears around Xatu's body, protecting it from the Hydro Pump. Once the bubble fades away, Xatu quickly disappears in a flash of pink energy. " Tu, Tu," it mumbles as it reappears behind Feraligatr and pokes it in the back of the head with its beak. " Ferrraaa," it growls in an irritated tone. " Use Dragon Claw," he commands before it quickly turns around and slices Xatu across the face with the glowing purple claws on its right hand. " Tuuuuuuuuuuu," it cries as it falls to the ground and lands on its chest. " Xattt," it whispers before spirals appear in its eyes.

  " Xatu is out! Mitch manages to gain the advantage," the announcer yells as Izzy recalls Xatu. Izzy pulls a Poké Ball out before getting a mischievous smile on her face. " I have a surprise for you," she says while letting her hair down. She pulls a bracelet out of her pocket and puts it on her right arm before showing it to him: it has a Key Stone in it. " Yeah, you're not the only one with Mega Evolution in this tournament," she says before throwing the ball in her hand into the air. " Amp, Amp, Pharos, Ampharos, Pharos," an Ampharos, that is wearing a bracelet with a Mega Stone in it, bleats as it appears in the battlefield. " Let's go insane! Mega Evolve," she cackles whilst pressing two fingers against her Key Stone, making both it and the Ampharosite in the bracelet on Ampharos' arm glow brightly.  " Phaaaaaaaroooooossss," it screams as a multi-colored opaque ball surrounds its body. Eventually, the ball disappears and Mega Ampharos gets into a battle stance. " Zap Cannon," she orders as Mega Ampharos forms a ball of electricity, with small bolts of electricity surrounding it, between its hands and then throws it at Feraligatr. " Feraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," Feraligatr screams as the ball hits it in the chest and explodes, knocking it over on its back. " Trrrr," it weakly moans with spirals in its eyes.

  " Oh, the irony! Mitch easily won his last battle by using Mega Evolution and now it's being used against him! Does he have a way to counter a Mega Evolved Pokémon!" " Oh, yeah, I do," Mitch says as he recalls Feraligatr, puts its Poké Ball away, pulls a Sport Ball out of his other pocket, and throws it into the air. "Zor, Zor, Sci, Scizor, Zor," Mitch's Scizor, who is wearing its Mega Stone Necklace, shouts as it clicks its pincers together multiple times. " Mega Evolve," he shouts as he and Scizor repeat the process that Izzy and Ampharos did. " Sciiiiiiiiizooooooooorrr," Mega Scizor yells as it prepares itself for battle. " Metal Claw," Mitch orders as Mega Scizor's right pincer becomes coated in silver metal before it quickly rushes forward and slams the claw into Mega Ampharos' chest. " Ammmmp," it grunts whilst rubbing its stomach. " Use a Thunder Punch," Izzy shouts as Mega Ampharos covers its right fist in electricity and then punches Mega Scizor in the face with it. " X-Scissor," he exclaims as both of Mega Scizor's arms glow yellowish green and it uses them to form an X shape. " Zoooooorrrr," it shouts as it jumps towards Mega Ampharos. " Dragon Pulse," she shouts before Mega Ampharos forms a ball of purple energy at the incoming Mega Scizor. " Zoorr," it groans in frustration as it is forced to hit the Dragon Pulse with X-Scissor, leaving it wide open. 

  " Power Gem," Izzy exclaims as Mega Ampharos fires a beam of brown energy from the orb above its face. " Sciiiiiiiiiiiiii," Mega Scizor cries as the attack strikes it dead in the chest and pushes it back several feet. " Try to use Night Slash," Mitch yells before Mega Scizor quickly darts forward and slices Mega Ampharos across the face with its glowing black left pincer. " Phaaaaaaaaaaros," it cries as the force of the impact knocks it back against a tree and briefly makes it fall down on all fours. " Welp, that looked like a Critical Hit, so I guess we should stop playing around! Use Fire Punch," Izzy commands as Mega Ampharos gets back to its feet and coats its right fist in fire. " Ammmmmpppp," it yells as it runs at Mega Scizor with its arm outstretched. " Use Agility to get in the forest and hide," Mitch shouts as Mega Scizor begins to move at a blinding speed, making Mega Ampharos' Fire Punch miss, before disappearing inside the forest on the right side of the battlefield.  " Roooooossss," Mega Ampharos growls whilst gritting its teeth in frustration. " Use Steel Beam from where you're hiding," Mitch shouts as Mega Scizor, whose body is glowing silver, fires a beam of silver energy from both of its pincers. " Amphaaaaaaarooooosssss," Mega Ampharos shouts as the beams hit it in the chest and knock it backwards. It lands at the start of one of the lines that leads to the circular area and returns to its base form. " Ammmp," it whimpers before spirals appear in its eyes. " And this clash of the Mega Evolutions leads to a victory for Mitch! We get the chance to see if he has anymore Mega Evolution tricks in Round 4," the announcer screams whilst the crowd celebrates Mitch's victory and Scizor, who has returned to its base form, emerges from the forest and happily smiles at its victory.
