" Laaappp," Lapras loudly yawns as it slowly makes its way to a large island covered in mountains and forests. " Hang in there Lapras, once we reach that island, I'll let you rest in your Poké Ball for a little while," Mitch says as he pats the Transport Pokémon on the side of the neck. Eventually, they reach the shore and Lapras nearly collapses from exhaustion on the sand, but manages to stop itself. Mitch quickly jumps off of Lapras and returns it to its Poké Ball. He puts the ball away and takes out another one that he tosses into the air. " Tyyyyyyyyy," Typhlosion shouts as it lands on all fours in the sand and stretches. " Want to explore this island while Lapras rests up and see if there is anything interesting on it," Mitch asks as Typhlosion stands up on its hind legs and nods with an eager look on its face.

Mitch and Typhlosion make their way through a small rocky valley with two small mountains to the left and right side of it. Mitch is about to stop and ask Typhlosion if it wants to stop for a lunch break when he is stopped by a loud noise.  " Taaaaaaarrr," something shouts as it tumbles off of a nearby cliff and lands in front of them. " Larviiii," it groans as it slowly gets back to its feet and Mitch uses his Pokédex on it. " Larvitar, the Rock Skin Pokémon, a Rock and Ground-type, Larvitar is born deep under the ground. To come up to the surface, this Pokémon must eat its way through the soil above. Until it does so, Larvitar cannot see its parents." " Taaaaaar," it shouts upon seeing them, it then summons a bunch of rocks out of thin air and sends them towards Mitch and Typhlosion. " Look out," Mitch exclaims as the two of them barely manage to avoid the Rock Throw.

" It may have fell off a cliff, but that appears to have just put it in a fighting mood instead of hurting it," Mitch says as Typhlosion ignites its neck flame and prepares to fight. " Taaaaaaaaar," Larvitar shouts as it slams its hands on the ground, sending a wave of dark black energy towards Typhlosion.  " Protect yourself with Defense Curl then attack with Lava Plume," Mitch hollers as Typhlosion curls into a ball and Larvitar's Dark Pulse does no damage when it hits. Typhlosion uncurls from the Defense Curl and its front legs begin to glow crimson red. " Tyyyyyyyyyyy," it roars as it slams its front legs down on the ground, causing a geyser of fire to erupt from underneath Larvitar. Larvitar is flung through the air by the attack and hits the ground with a very loud thud. " Taaaaar," it groans upon impact, but quickly manages to get back to its feet and rushes towards Typhlosion with its mouth, which is outlined with dark black energy, agape.

" It's trying to use Crunch, stop it with Flamethrower," Mitch shouts as Typhlosion fires a medium sized stream of fire from its mouth.  " Taaaaaaaaar," Larvitar cries as the attack hits it in the face, cancelling out its Crunch, and knocks it backwards.  " Laaarrrr," it groans as it is slammed against a small boulder. Larvitar slowly gets back to its feet and begins to charge up a large beam of bright red energy in its mouth. " Is that thing about to use Hyper Beam!? Better prepare to counter it with Overheat," Mitch says as Typhlosion's body begins to glow bright red. However, before either Pokémon can fire off their attack, something very large jumps off the cliff that Larvitar previously fell off of and lands between Larvitar and Typhlosion. " Tar, Tar, Tyranitar," a Tyranitar calmly shouts at Typhlosion and Mitch before turning to face Larvitar with a judgmental look on its face. " Hey, I remember you! You're Mitch," a familiar voice shouts. Mitch quickly looks in the direction that the voice is coming from and sees Ella standing on the edge of the cliff that Tyranitar jumped off of.

" After Tyranitar lost control of itself in our battle, we decided to take a break from our Gym Challenge and see if we could finally get Tyranitar to control its temper. We did so by returning to this island, the island I caught it on when it was a Larvitar, and doing some training. It took weeks, but Tyranitar finally got control of its temper and now we've decided to help this group of Larvitar train and become stronger before we leave," Ella explains as she, Mitch, Typhlosion, Tyranitar, the Larvitar that fought Mitch and Typhlosion, and a group of around thirty other Larvitar sit around the remains of her campfire from the previous night. " So, what's that one's problem," Mitch asks whilst pointing at the Larvitar, who is pouting at the edge of a log, that he fought. " Unlike the other Larvitar here, that one hasn't managed to win a single battle so far. Which is a shame because it trains for most of the day and tries its best in every battle that it's in," she explains as the Larvitar kicks a pebble in frustration.
