Silver Conference: Round 7 ( Part 1)

   " Welcome to the next battle of Round 7 here on this Oasis Battlefield," the announcer booms as the crowd shrieks and a sandy battlefield that is surrounded by palm trees and has a large pond in the center of it rises up from underneath the stadium. " For this battle, it appears that we have Ian Reyes from Oldale Town in the Left Corner facing off against Mitch Harper from Pallet Town in the Right Corner," he yells as Mitch and Ian quickly rush up to their sides of the field whilst waving at the crowd. " Well, we both have made it here to the Top 4 proving that we're just as strong as both of us assumed of each other! You better give it you're all," Ian says as the jumbo trons start flashing images of their faces back to back. " Oh, I'm definitely going to," Mitch says with a smile before the jumbo trons stop on an image of Ian's face. " Ian will move first! Let this showdown commence," the announcer exclaims as Ian pulls out a Dusk Ball.

  " Mawile, let's get down to business," Ian yells as he throws the Dusk Ball at the battlefield. " Maw, Ile, Maw, Maw, Mawile," it shouts as it lands in the battlefield. " Okay, so based on what I've seen from looking through my Pokédex, I've already encountered every Pokémon that lives in Kanto and Johto, but I've never seen this Pokémon before, so I guess it's from the Hoenn Region," Mitch asks before Ian and Mawile both nod. Upon further examination, Mitch notices that Mawile is wearing a glove on one of its hands that appears to have a Mega Stone in it. " Already bringing out the Pokémon you're going to Mega Evolve in this battle," he questions. " Eh, this whole waiting until the end of the battle thing to Mega Evolve is getting boring, predictable, and repetitive. So, I'm going to start off with it instead of ending with it," Ian explains whilst showing Mitch the necklace with a Key Stone that he has. " Sounds great! Guess, I'll do that too! Heracross, you're getting the first turn," Mitch yells whilst hurling a Poké Ball into the battlefield. " Cross, Cross, Hera, Heracross, Cross, Hera," Heracross, who is equipped with its Mega Stone Necklace, shouts as it flies down next to the pond and briefly flexes its muscles. " Mega Evolve," both trainers yell whilst pressing two fingers against their Key Stones, making them, the Heracronite in Heracross' necklace, and the Mawilite in Mawile's glove brightly glow. " Heraaaaaaaaaaaaaa," " Maaaaaaaaaawwww," they shout as the opaque and multi-colored balls engulf their bodies. Several seconds pass and the balls disappear, revealing Mega Mawile and Mega Heracross. 

  " Start us off with Iron Head," Ian yells as the top of Mega Mawile's head becomes coated in a silver metal before it rushes towards Mega Heracross with its head outstretched. " Dodge by using Dig and then use Brick Break," Mitch exclaims before Mega Heracross quickly digs a hole in the ground that it jumps inside of.  " Maawww," Mega Mawile groans in frustration when its Iron Head hits nothing. " Crooosssss," Mega Heracross yells as it emerges behind Mega Mawile and punches it in the back. " Wiiiille," it cries as it stumbles forwards and Mega Heracross starts to twist its glowing white right arm into an odd angle. " Stop its Brick Break with Crunch," Ian shouts as one of the jaws on the back of Mega Mawile's head becomes outlined in a black aura and it stops Mega Heracross's Brick Break by catching the arm it was using it with in its jaw. " Heraaa," Mega Heracross grunts whilst trying to free itself from Mega Mawile's Jaw. " Use Psychic Fangs with your other jaw," Ian hollers before the teeth in Mega Mawile's other jaw become coated in pink energy and it uses the jaw to bite down on Mega Heracross' other arm. " Crosssssssssss," the now trapped Mega Heracross screams as Mega Mawile tightens its hold with both jaws. " Try to get free by using Smart Strike," Mitch shouts as Mega Heracross' horn becomes coated in metal and it powerfully stabs Mega Mawile in the back of the head with it. " Maaaawww," Mega Mawile cries as it is temporarily knocked to the ground by the attack, which loosens its grip enough for Mega Heracross to pull itself free. 

  " Now use Seismic Toss," Mitch shouts as Mega Heracross picks up Mega Mawile, jumps into the air, spins around for several seconds, and then throws it to the ground. " Wiiiiiiilllle," it groans as it lands face first in the sand. " Try to get up and use Play Rough," Ian yells as Mega Mawile stands back up and its body begins to glow pink. " Fight it back with Arm Thrust," Mitch commands as Mega Heracross' palms begin to glow white. " Maaaaaawwwww," Mega Mawile yells as it runs forward and begins to repeatedly strike Mega Heracross, who continuously strikes Mega Mawile with its palms, with different parts of its body. After several minutes of this, both  Pokémon appear to have had enough as they both fall over on their backs. " Crossss' " Maaaww," they both groan before reverting to their base forms with spirals in their eyes. 

  " Evenly matched Mega Evolutions! What a way to start this battle," the announcer shrieks as both trainers send their defeated Pokémon back to their respective balls. " Medicham, let's do this," Ian shouts whilst throwing a Great Ball. " Cham, Cham, Medi, Medicham," it whispers as it levitates in the air and meditates. " Definitely another Hoenn Pokémon, Dodrio, your turn," Mitch says before throwing a Safari Ball. " Dod, Dod, Rio, Dod, Dodrio," they squawk as they land in the battlefield and kick up some sand. " Medicham, use Ice Punch," Ian orders as Medicham drops down on its feet and its left fist becomes coated in ice whilst it runs at Dodrio. " Counter with Tri Attack," Mitch exclaims before an orb of different elements appears above each of Dodrio's heads, one made of ice, one made of electricity, and one made of fire. " Riooooooooo," they tweet whilst slinging all three orbs at the incoming Medicham. " Chaaaaaaaammmm," it cries as the orbs hit it, but don't stop its Ice Punch, it continues forward and punches Dodrio directly in the chest. " Dooooooodddd," they cry as their are pushed backwards and almost fall against one of the palm trees. " Now use High Jump Kick," Ian hollers as Medicham jumps high into the air and its right knee glows orange. " Chaaaammmm," it cries as it begins to descend towards Dodrio with the knee outstretched. " Now would be a good time to use Agility," Mitch howls as Dodrio begins to move at a lightning fast speed, allowing them to avoid Medicham's attack. " Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaamm," it cries as it lands knee first on the ground and then falls over on its side whilst wincing and holding its knee. " Finish it with Drill Peck," Mitch shouts as all three of Dodrio's beaks glow white, extend by a few inches, and start spinning. " Riooooooooo," they cry as they quickly stampede forward and slam their spinning beaks into Medicham's back. " Mediiiiiiiiiii," it whines as it is knocked several feet across the field by the attack and lands next to the pond with spirals in its eyes.

  " High Jump Kick is definitely a powerful move, but it still has its risks and Ian's Medicham just showed off the risk," the announcer hollers whilst Ian sends Medicham back to its Great Ball. " Milotic, let's go," he yells whilst hurling a Net Ball at the pond on the battlefield. " Tic, Tic, Milo, MIlotic, Milo," it sings as it lands in the water with a loud splash. " Use a Hydro Pump," Ian yells before " Ttttttticccc," Milotic releases a large stream of water from its mouth. " Dodge that and use Drill Peck," Mitch shouts as Dodrio jumps over the water and slams their glowing, spinning beaks into Milotic's chest. " Miii," it briefly grunts before looking up at Dodrio and confidently smirking. " Unleash Blizzard," Ian cries out as Milotic lets a large amount of giant snowflakes out of its mouth." Riooooooooooooooooo," they cry as the attack knocks them back and slams them against one of the palm trees. " Doooodd," they whimper as they land at the base of the tree with spirals in its eyes. 

   " Out cold! Milotic gives Ian his first actual win in this match! Will it be able to keep the process going," the announcer asks whilst Mitch sends Dodrio back to its Safari Ball. " Okay Victreebel, you get a turn now," he hollers as he throws a standard Poké Ball.  " That's just another victim for Blizzard," Ian shouts as Milotic starts to open its mouth in preparation for the attack. " Yeah, that's not happening again! Use your vine to hold its mouth shut," Mitch yells as Victreebel wraps its vine around Milotic's mouth, preventing it from opening. " Now pull it in and use Leaf Blade," MItch shouts as Victreebel's right leaf glows green and extends into a blade-like tip. " Beeeeeeeeeeellllll," it cries as it heaves and slings Milotic over its head, slashing it across the chest with its leaf as it does so. " Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii," Milotic, Victreebel let its mouth loose after it used Leaf Blade on it, cries as it lands head first on the ground and struggles to get back up. After several minutes of trying, Milotic realizes that it can't keep going, its head falls back to the ground and spirals appear in its eyes. " Milotic goes down thanks to a strange strategy by Mitch," the announcer shrieks as Ian puts Milotic back in its Net Ball.
