Mitch vs. Ella: Battle of the Megas

  " Let's see a Psybeam," Mitch shouts at an Espeon before it fires a beam of pink energy out of the gem on its forehead, aiming for the branch of a nearby tree. The beam hits the branch and easily snaps it off of the tree.  " Now use Psychic on the branch you just knocked down," he orders as the Espeon's eyes glow pink and it uses telekinesis to sling the branch into the nearby river.  " Awesome! Now try Umbreon," he shouts as the Espeon begins to glow in a blinding brown light. Eventually, the light fades away, revealing that the Espeon was actually Mitch's Eevee. " Vee, Vee," it cries before its body begins to glowing in a blinding black light. "Um, Um, Umbreon, Breon, the Umbreon in Eevee's place shouts as the glowing starts. " Alright, use Snarl on that rock," he says whilst pointing towards a small boulder on the edge of the river. " Ummmmmmbreeeeeee," it loudly screams whilst releasing a sound wave of dark black energy from its mouth. The Snarl hits the rock, leaving multiple large cracks in it. " See what a Dark Pulse does to it," he hollers as Umbreon's front feet become outlined by a black area and it powerfully slams them on the ground, sending a wave of black energy towards the rock. The Dark Pulse easily destroys the rock as Umbreon confidently smirks. " Looks like you're just as strong in these forms as you are in your other forms," he says whilst patting it in the head. " Umbreon, Bre," it happily cries before returning to its Eevee form.

   Mitch and Typhlosion walk into a rocky clearing in a forest and start looking around for something. " That Nurse Joy said that they should be here or did she mean some other area exactly like this," Mitch asks before something loudly stomps out of the forest in front of them. " Ty, Ty, Tyranitar, Tar," a Tyranitar, with a bracelet on its left arm that appears to have a Mega Stone in it, roars before Ella comes out right behind it. " She told you right! We're actually on our way to the Silver Conference like you are and we heard that you have recently become capable of Mega Evolution, would that little rumor be true," she asks while showing him the Key Stone Bracelet on her right arm. " Those rumors are very true," he replies with a grin whilst flashing his Key Stone Bracelet at her. " So cool! I told that Nurse Joy to tell you to put Scizor on your team before you came here, would you want to have a redo of our first battle, but this time with Mega Evolution," she asks as Tyranitar walks a little further into the clearing. " You bet I do! Scizor, let's go,' he shouts while throwing its Sport Ball into the clearing. " Sci, Zor, Sci, Zor, Zor, Scizor," Scizor, equipped with its Scizorite necklace, shouts as it lands in the clearing and clicks its pincers together several times. 

    " Mega Evolve," Mitch and Ella yell at the same time whilst pressing their fingers against their Key Stones, causing both the Key Stones and the Mega Stones equipped to their Pokémon to glow. " Sciiiiiiiiiiiiizooooooooorrrrrrrr," " Tyraaaaaaaaaaanitaaaaaaarrrrr," Scizor and Tyranitar loudly scream as their bodies become encased in a colorful opaque ball. Eventually, the balls disappear revealing Mega Scizor and Mega Tyranitar. " Zooooor, " Taarrrr," they both grunt while getting into battle positions. " I think we'll start things off! And we'll do it by using Bullet Punch," Mitch shouts before Mega Scizor's right pincer glows silver and moves towards Mega Tyranitar at a high speed with a few streaks of silver energy trailing behind it. " Sciiiiiiii," it shouts while stabbing Mega Tyranitar in the chest with the pincer, it winces in pain. " Use Dragon Claw," Ella commands before the claws on Mega Tyranitar's right arm glow purple and it slices Mega Scizor across the face with them. " Zoorrr," Mega Scizor grunts before quickly shaking off the pain of the attack. " Metal Claw," " Brick Break," both trainers exclaim before Mega Scizor slams its silver coated pincer over Mega Tyranitar's left shoulder and Mega Tyranitar strikes Mega Scizor in the chest with its glowing white, twisted into an odd angle right arm.  " Sciiii," " Tyyyyrraaa," both Mega Scizor and Mega Tyranitar grunt whilst stumbling backwards and rubbing the places they were hit in. 

   " Iron Head," Mitch exclaims as the top of Mega Scizor's head becomes coated in a silver metal. " Zoooooooooorrrrr," it yells as it jumps forward and gives Mega Tyranitar a powerful headbutt. " Taaaarrr," it cries as it is left temporarily stunned by the attack and falls to one knee. " Use X-Scissor while its down," Mitch shouts while both of Mega Scizor's arms glow yellowish green and it uses them to make a X shape. Mega Scizor jumps towards Mega Tyranitar and prepares to strike it with the Bug-type attack. " Use Scary Face to stop its attack and then use Crunch," Ella hollers as Mega Tyranitar's eyes glow red and it aggressively growls at Mega Scizor, " Taaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrr," " Zoorrrr," Mega Scizor whines as it is forced to stop X-Scissor and its body flashes red to prove that its Speed was lowered. " Tyraaaaaaaaa," it roars as it manages to stand back up and bite down on to Mega Scizor's right shoulder with its black aura outlined mouth. " Zoooooooooooooorrrrr," it loudly screams as Mega Tyranitar continues to bite down. " Try to free yourself with Steel Beam!" " Sciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizoooooooorrrrrr," it loudly screams as its whole body glows silver and it releases a beam of silver energy from both of its pincer. " Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr," Mega Tyranitar cries as the beams push it backwards and against a large rock, which is has to use to keep itself up with after it almost falls.

   " Sciiiiiii," Mega Scizor groans as the Steel Beam Recoil Damage knocks it to its knees. " Looks like it's almost down, Use Flamethrower," Ella hollers before Mega Tyranitar releases a medium sized stream of fire from its mouth. " Iron Defense," Mitch shouts as a knight-like armor surrounds Mega Scizor's body, protecting it from the fire. Mega Scizor manages to stand back up as the armor slowly fades from its body. " X-Scissor," Mitch commands before Mega Scizor quickly rushes at Mega Tyranitar, who is still propped up on the rock, and slams the attack over its head. " Taaaaaaarrrrrr," it cries as it holds it head and falls down on its butt. Mega Scizor returns to its original position, but it would appear that the damage it has taken is starting to get the better of it as it falls down on one knee. After a few minutes of struggling, both Mega Scizor and Mega Tyranitar manage to get back to their feet. " Use Flamethrower," Ella yells as Mega Tyranitar releases the medium sized fire stream from its mouth. " Use Steel Beam," Mitch shouts as Mega Scizor fires the two beams of silver energy from both of its pincers. While it looks like the two moves are about to collide, they actually bypass each other and slam into the Pokémon they were aimed at, exploding on contact and causing a large smoke cloud to be created.

 A brief gust of wind blows away the smoke, revealing that Scizor and Tyranitar have returned to their original forms and are lying motionless on their backs. " Zoorrr," Tttaar," they both whimper before spirals appear in their eyes. Mitch and Ella recall their defeated Pokémon and stare blankly at each other for a few seconds before they both laugh. " Evenly matched even with Megas means that we're screwed if we have to battle each other at the Silver Conference, which means I'll have to keep training so that I can actually beat you then," he says as they finishing up laughing. " And I'll do the same! By the way, how is Pupitar doing?" " Great! It actually took part in my last two gym battles and did amazing in both of them. It's currently resting at Professor Oak's lab right now!" " Well, you might want it back to your party and train it some more so it can become a Tyranitar before the Silver Conference starts. I would love to see how much stronger it has become," she replies. " Guess I could give it a little more training, I'll start as soon as possible," he says as she grins and gives him a nod of respect.
