An Eggciting Tournament ( Part 2)

    " The 2nd battle of Round 2 will now begin," the referee yells as the crowd ( whose size has increased a little since the last round) enthusiastically cheers. " In the left corner, we have Mitch from Pallet Town and in the right corner, we have Cahya from Olivine City," the ref says as Mitch and his opponent walk up to their sides of the battlefield. " Cayha gets the first move! Let this battle commence," the ref hollers as Cahya pulls a Great Ball out of her pocket. " Hypno, I choose you," she yells as she throws the ball upwards. " Hyp, Hyp, No, Hypno, Hyp," it cackles as it lands in a battle stance. " Come on out, Scizor," Mitch yells whilst he throws Scizor's Sport Ball into the battlefield. " Zor, Zor, Zor, Sci, Sci, Scizor, Zor," it shouts as it clicks its pincer together a few times.

  " Use Psybeam," Cahya orders as Hypno fires a medium sized beam of pink psychic energy from its pendulum. " Get out of the way with Agility and use Metal Claw," Mitch hollers as Scizor begins to run around at a lightning fast speed, avoiding the Psybeam. " Zooooooooor," it shouts as it appears next to Hypno and slams its silver coated right claw into the side of Hypno's face. " Noooooooooo," Hypno cries as it is knocked a few feet to the right by the attack. It lands on its back, but quickly gets back on its feet as Cayha commands it to, " attack with a Shadow Ball!" " Hyyyyyyyyp," it whispers as it fires a large ball of black energy out of its pendulum. " Use Night Slash on the Shadow Ball and then use X-Scissor on Hypno," Mitch orders as Scizor's left pincer starts to glow black. " Sciiiiiiiiii," it grunts as it using the pincer to slice the Shadow Ball in two, stopping it from doing any damage. Both of Scizor's pincers begin to glow yellowish-green as it crosses them into an X shape. " Zooooooooooooooor," it cries as it quickly sprints forward and slams into Hypno's face with its X shaped pincers. " Noooooooooooooooooooo,"it cries as it stumbles backwards and falls over on its back. " Hyyypp," it moans as spirals form in its eyes.

  " Hypno is out of the battle," the referee exclaims as Cayha returns Hypno to its ball. " Help me out, Ninetales," she shouts whilst throwing out a Poké Ball. " Tales, Nine, Nine, Ninetales," it growls as it appears in front of Scizor. " Use Bullet Punch," Mitch hollers as Scizor moves at a lightning quick speed, with several streaks of silver energy trailing behind it, and slams its glowing silver right pincer against the forehead of Ninetales. " Niiiiiiinne," it grunts in pain,but quickly shakes it away. " Hit it with Fire Spin," Cayha yells as Ninetales spins its head around and releases a stream of spinning fire from its mouth. " Iron Defense," Mitch whispers as Scizor's body becomes encased in a knight-like armor, preventing Fire Spin from hurting it. " Now use Night Slash," Mitch exclaims as Scizor slices Ninetales across the chest with its glowing black left pincer. " Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaales," it cries as it is briefly knocked to the ground by the attack, but quickly manages to get back on its feet. " Use Nasty Plot," Cayha says as the eyes of Ninetales glow black and its body becomes outlined in black energy. A small question mark made of light black energy forms above its head before quickly fading away as the rest of Ninetales returns to normal coloring. Its body then briefly flashes gold to show that its Special Attack was successfully increased. " Flamethrower," she yells as Ninetales shoots out a medium sized stream of fire. 

   Scizor tries to avoid the Flamethrower, but ends up getting skimmed on the back by the attack. " Zoooooooor," it moans as it is knocked to its knees. " End this with Incinerate," Cayha orders as Ninetales breathes out a small stream of fire. " Sciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii," it exclaims as the attack hits it in the side. Scizor silently falls over on its chest and spirals appear in its eyes. " Scizor can no longer fight," the ref hollers as Mitch puts Scizor back in its Sport Ball.  " Croconaw, it's time to wake up," Mitch yells while throwing a Poké Ball.  " Croc, Croc, Naw, Croconaw, Naw," it yells as it lands in a battle stance, Mitch's wake up call worked. " Use Aqua Tail," he commands as Croconaw's tail becomes coated in water and prepares to strike Ninetales across the head with it. "Use Roar," Cayda exclaims as " Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnetaaaaaaaaaaales," lets out an extremely loud cry that creates a big sound-wave. " Crooccc," Croconaw says in a shocked tone as the Roar forces it to return to its ball, letting out a random Pokémon from Mitch's party. " Pom," Mitch's Aipom says with a confused expression on its face as it is forced to take Croconaw's place on the battlefield.
