Full Battle at the Lake of Rage ( Part 2)

   " Bayleef, you're up next," Mitch hollers whilst throwing a Poké Ball into the air. " Bay, Leef, Bay, Bay, Bayleef," it huffs as it lands a couple of feet in front of Qwilfish.  " Use Bullet Seed," he yells before Bayleef fires multiple green energy seeds from its mouth. " Pin Missile," Joe shouts as Qwilfish fires multiple yellowish green energy needles out of some of its spikes. The two attacks collide and cause an explosion that Joe quickly takes advantage of. " Hide in the smoke and use Poison Tail!"  "Qwiiiiiiilll," it shouts as it jumps out of the water and into the smoke cloud.  " Use Magical Leaf at the smoke," Mitch exclaims before Bayleef summons multiple dark green leaves and sends them into the smoke. " Qwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllll," Qwilfish, who was in the process of starting Poison Tail, cries as the unavoidable attack knocks it back into the water. " Now use Vine Whip," Mitch orders as Bayleef releases the two vines from the tiny holes in its neck. " Minimize," Joe whispers as the vines near Qwilfish. " Qwil," it mumbles while shrinking down to an almost microscopic size.

  The tiny Qwilfish easily avoids the vines and returns to normal size. " Crunch," Joe commands as Qwilfish, with its mouth outlined in a black aura, lunges forward and bites down on Bayleef's right leg. " Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay," it screams as Qwilfish refuses to release its gripe. " Knock it off you with Vine Whip and then use Energy Ball," Mitch yells. " Baaaayy," it grunts while letting its vines loose and using them to swat Qwilfish across the forehead, forcing to to release Bayleef's leg from its mouth and knocking against the edge of the lake. " Baaaaaaaaaaaaaay," it exclaims whilst firing a ball of bright green energy from its mouth. " Destiny Bond," Joe whispers just before the Energy Ball hits Qwilfish and explodes on impact. The smoke from the explosion quickly blows away and reveals a defeated Qwilfish. " Qwiiiil," it weakly moans before a ghostly Qwilfish emerges from its body and goes inside Bayleef's body. " Baaaaaaaaaaaayyyy," it screams as its body flashes black several times. It falls over on its side and spirals appear in its eyes. 

    " Wouldn't expect a person that hates ties as much as you do to have a move like Destiny Bond on one of your Pokémon," Mitch says as he and Joe recall Bayleef and Qwilfish. " I don't care! Doing that means that I only need to bring down 4 more of your loser Pokémon and that's all that matters! Sneasel, get out here," Joe yells before throwing out a Poké Ball. " Sel, Sneas, Sel, Sel," it yells as it slashes at the dirt with its claws. " Heracross, it's your move," Mitch exclaims whilst throwing a ball of his own. " Cross, Cross, Hera, Heracross, Hera," it shouts as it lands and, after seeing what Sneasel is doing, slams its fists against the ground a couple of times. " Use Dark Pulse," Joe shouts as Sneasel's palms glow black. " Seeeeeeeeeellll," it screeches before slamming its palms on the ground, sending a wave of black energy at Heracross. " Dodge it and use Megahorn" Mitch hollers as Heracross spreads its wings and flies above the Dark Pulse. Heracross' horn glows yellowish green and, " Heraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa," it quickly flies down and slams the horn against Sneasel's chest. " Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel," it yells as it is slammed against a tree and falls to the base of it on its butt. " Sneee," it groans before spirals appear in its eyes.

    " Yeah, I really don't know what you were expecting to happen there, that was a Dark and Ice-type against against a Bug and Fighting-type, Sneasel didn't stand a chance," Mitch says with slight chuckle as Joe recalls Sneasel and gets an agitated look on his face. " Well, if you can use a massive type advantage to your advantage, I can go the exact same thing! Xatu, get out here," he shouts while tossing out a Quick Ball. " Xa, Xa, Xatu," it mumbles whilst standing as still as a statue. " Xatu, the Mystic Pokémon, a Psychic and Flying-type, the evolved form of Natu, Xatu is known to stand motionless while staring at the sun all day long. Some people revere it as a mystical Pokémon out of their belief that Xatu is in possession of the power to see into the future."  " And winning this battle is definitely in our future! Use Air Slash," Joe exclaims whilst Xatu flies into the air and uses its wings to send a long and sharp wave of wind towards Heracross. " Use Rock Blast," Mitch yells as Heracross aims its horn towards Xatu and begins to rapidly fire off small boulders from the space between the cross on its horn. The first boulder collides with Xatu's Air Slash and the two attacks destroy each other whilst the other boulders move on towards Xatu. 

    " GET OUT OF THE WAY,"  Joe yells as Xatu tries its best to avoid the boulders, but still ends up getting hit by a couple of them. Surprisingly, Xatu manages to stay in the air, giving it another chance to attack. " Use Psychic," Joe exclaims as Xatu's eyes glow pink and it uses telekinesis to pick Heracross up and slam it against a tree. " Crooooss," it groans as it lands at the base of the tree and tries to get back up. " Take it down with Ominous Wind," he orders before Xatu uses its wings to blow a black gust of wind at Heracross. " Crossssssssssssss," it screams as the wind knocks it back against the tree. After a few seconds, the wind blows out and Heracross sits against the tree with spirals in its eyes. " Heraaaa," it whimpers whilst Mitch returns it to its Poké Ball. 

   " And with that, half of your losers have been defeated," Joe gloats as Mitch pulls out another Poké Ball. " So? You've lost more than half of your team meaning you're still the one at a disadvantage! Croconaw, get ready for battle," Mitch shouts whilst throwing the ball. " Crooooc," it loudly yawns whilst lying on its side before looking up at Xatu and jumping into a battle position. " When is a loser like you going to learn to stop getting so overconfident!? Use Air Slash," Joe shouts whilst Xatu sends the wind wave towards Croconaw. " Jump and use Blizzard," Mitch commands as Croconaw jumps over the Air Slash and then fires a large blast of giant snow flurries from its mouth. " Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuu," Xatu cries as the snow flurries slam into it and almost knock it to the ground. " Now use Crunch," Mitch hollers as Croconaw powerfully bites down on one of Xatu's head feathers. " Xaaaaaaaaaat," it screams whilst Croconaw's additional weight forces it to land. " Get that loser away from you with Psychic!" " Crooooooooooooc," Croconaw yells as Xatu uses its telekinesis to sling Croconaw across the ground multiple times, eventually knocking it into the Lake of Rage. " Xaaaaaaaa," Xatu mumbles before it falls over on its back. Spirals appear in its eyes just as Croconaw emerges from beneath the lake's surface and pulls itself back on land. Joe, with an anxious look on his face, recalls Xatu to its Quick Ball and pulls out the Poké Ball containing his sixth Pokémon.
