Home Sweet Pallet

  A morning view of Professor Oak's lab is shown before it pans down to the area behind the lab that Mitch's Pokémon stay in. " Zzzzzaardd," Charizard quietly yawns as it stands up and walks over to a nearby pool of water, careful not to wake Primeape, Sudowoodo, Tauros, Donphan, and Pidgeot, who are all sleeping near it. It takes a few sips of water before walking in an eastern direction, allowing Ariados ( who was sleeping in the nearby bushes) to take its place at the pool. Charizard continues to walk and passes by several of Mitch's Pokémon, who are doing different activities: Heracross, Hitmonchan, and Hitmonlee spar with each other, Venusaur and Vileplume rest on rocks and absorb morning sunlight into the plants on their bodies whilst Eevee and Forretress play around them, and Blastoise, Kingdra, Octillery, Lapras, and Cloyster go for a morning swim in a pond as Politoed and Quagsire play with baby Kangaskhan on the shore under the watchful eye of mama Kangaskhan. 

 Eventually, Charizard comes to a large empty food tray, where Snorlax, Ursaring, Tyranitar, Dragonite, Rhydon, Aerodactyl, Lickitung, Nidoking, Victreebel, and Scizor are already waiting, and sits down. After several minutes pass, the tray is pulled into the ground and then emerges minutes later full of Pokémon food and berries. The other present Pokémon begin to dig in as Charizard turns and roars, " Zaaaaaaaaaaaaard," in the direction it came from. After several seconds, the rest of Mitch's Pokémon ( In addition to the aforementioned Pokémon, Beedrill, Fearow, Rapidash, Farfetch'd, Dodrio, Muk, Magmar, Pinsir, Noctowl, Crobat, Misdreavus, Houndoom, and Porygon2 are present) stampede into the area and begin to devour the food. " Chhaarr," it grunts before joining them in the Breakfast feast.

Later That Afternoon 

   Mitch stands in front of all of his Pokémon ( The party of Typhlosion, Meganium, Feraligatr, Aipom, Gligar, and Gengar that he had with him have joined them) and thinks for several minutes. " Alright, everyone, we placed Top 4 in the Silver Conference, so great job," he exclaims before continuing. " The guy that beat us was from the Hoenn Region and used Pokémon that are from there. I did a little research and found out that there are also gyms and a League Tournament in that region, so I've decided that I'll go there on my next journey. I'll use Pokémon I catch there in gym battles and if I make it to the league, I'll call upon some of you guys to help me," he explains as they all smile and cheer. " Alright, now go have some fun," he yells as they disperse and go back to their day to day activities. 

  " I assume you'll be leaving next week when a boat leaves here for Littleroot Town," Professor Oak asks whilst walking up to Mitch. " Yeah," he responds as Oak nods. " Than I'll get into contact with Professor Birch and have him prepare a Hoenn Starter Pokémon for you, but in the meantime, I suggest you pick at least one Pokémon from here to take with you and then send back here when you get said starter. It's always wise for a trainer to have at least one Pokémon on them when they are traveling," he explains before going back inside the lab. Mitch looks over at Typhlosion, who is flirting with Magmar, before feeling a tap on his shoulder. He quickly turns around and sees Charizard.  " Zaaard," it says with a pleading look in its eyes. " So, you want to be the one that comes with me," he asks as it nods. " Than I guess you better be getting ready," he says as it eagerly grins. " Hoenn, I'm coming for you," Mitch thinks to himself with a excited smirk on his face.
