Chapter 49:

Jaclyn's POV:

Today I am 8 months pregnant. I'm so miserable. I'm currently laying on the couch watching tv.

I go to get up when my seat gets wet.

J: Babe!
B: what?
J: it's time!

He grabbed my bag and got Aeri in the car. He carried me out and dropped Aeri off at Beckys on the way there.

When we got there they were ready because I had called. They took me back and got me prepped.

N: she's at 10
D: okay. Jaclyn. It's time to push.

I grabbed Brantleys hand and pushed really hard.

D: his heads out. One more push.

I pushed as hard as I could and he was out. They laid him in my chest and cleaned him up. B cut the cord and they took him away.

When they brought him back I laid in bed with him. Brantley came over and sat on the other side of me. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

B: he's perfect.

I leaned up and kissed him.

J: we need a name.
B: okay. Let's list names.
J: you pick a first name and I pick the middle. You can't turn down the middle name.
B: okay.

He thought about it and said

B: Thomas?
J: sounds good.
B: middle name?
J: Keith.
B: really??
J: yes. Aeri has my middle name so Thomas has yours.
B: Thomas Keith Gilbert. I like it.
J: me too.

The nurse came in and took Thomas. I snuggled into B and fell asleep.
