C'yra observed the room.

‘Dearest…? Why are you up so late…?’ A half asleep Amato mumbled, before stifling a yawn.

‘Nightmare…..Wednesday…Aldric…Oh Amato….I'm awful'

The queen hugs her knees to her chest, and tears threaten to fall. Yet the strong willed magicat refuses to allow it.

Amato sits up. His emerald eyes bore into hers.

‘Tell me why you think that.’

‘Because I murdered someone! And felt satisfied by doing so!’

‘C'yra. Remember what you said to me after Beatrices death? No matter what you have done, If guilt weighs your heart, a chance is free. If you were truly awful, you would bear no guilt. You were only trying to protect Catra.’

The queens shoulders relax, and she falls against him.

‘Did the kids see?’

‘Maverick only stopped watching when you spoke.’

C'yra sighs, and turns to face the end of the bed. If forever is hell, than tonight shall be a dream.

‘Catra, this is Minthe and Erna, your handmaidens'

Naeva introduced two female magicats. Catra looled at them, and nodded silently.

‘Also, the invitations have been sent to your etherian friends’ And with that, the head of the guards disappears into the hallway.

‘Shall we draw you a bath, my lady?’ Minthe pipes up.

‘Sure' Catra replies. The two leave the room and go into the bathroom.

Her eyes suddenly flick upward, to the painting on the wall.

Its of the royal family, it had been painted when she was only a child. Before the Horde had invaded Falinica all those years ago, before she had been taken.

She gets up from her bed, and walks to the window. The early morning light seeped through.

I'm going exploring later, She decides, as her eyes fall on the labyrinth of a forest stretching across the outskirts of Halfmoon.

All of a sudden, a glimmer of silver shoots out from the furthest trees in sight. Catra jumps forward, and her claws screech loudly as they collide with the glass.

‘Lady Catra? Your bath is ready'

Erna stands with a glower at the bathroom door, and Minthe is busying herself by preparing clothes for after.

Catra sends one last glance out the window, before following Erna into the bathroom.

‘The crown princess of Halfmoon has invited you three to a tea party with a another noblewoman on the Sunday before the Freyjan festival, on the outer grounds of Sirona’

Angella slowly lowers the scroll to look at Glimmer, Adora and Bow.

‘We should go!’ Bow says, eyes twinkling in delight.

‘Really? I mean this is Catra we're talking about' Glimmer voices the fact thats been annoying Angella, though her head put it in Shadow Weavers annoying drawl.

‘I don't think Catra is with the Horde anymore. I mean, shes literally a princess now….and as much as I hate to admit it, she clearly adores her new life. Shes taken the route she has always yearned but never spoke of’ Adora sighs.

‘fine then. Its Friday, so we have one more day before we meet with her. So, yes?’

Adora and Bow nod.

Angella swallows and goes to write a reply.

But Adora can't keep away the feeling that this isn't going to end the way she would expect.
