The Verena Xalia  landed on Etheria a week later.

Catra hadn't yet told Adora when she would be back. And she didn't plan to.

She wanted to surprise her.

But they had landed somewhere familiar.

Right behind one of Pucas watchtowers.

And lucky for her, their conversation topic was Pucas plan for the battle that would secure the end result. The magicats or him.

Catra approached them on Melogs back, invisible.

'-Samhain Festival. I still can't believe we have to fight on the night of the Blood Moon. He promised us months ago we would get it off! I had plans for my wife and I to go to Mystacor for our anniversary!'

'I feel you man, Its my sons birthday on the blood moon, I won't be able to spend it with him, again'

Catra pitied the soldiers. But it gave her an idea.

But before she could move, she heard a quiet mewl In the distance.

Melog turned in the direction, and slowly approached the sound.

Puca himself just walked out of sight as they found the area, but Catras eyes were drawn to the caged animal in the corner.

It was a bright pink mountain cat, and it felt oddly familiar to Catra.

'We can't just leave it in Pucas hands.'  Said Melog.

'Exactly. Melog, can you cause a distraction? I can get through the bars with my claws' She slipped off of their back.

Melog nodded and ran off toward Pucas direction.

Catra ran forward, and snatched the cage.

But as she was running away, she fell back when a blast of fire grazed her shoulder.

She looked over at the guards who grimaced in guilt.

She knew they were just doing their job, like she had been in the Horde. So she nodded at them, which confused them, then grabbed the cage again and lept into the trees.

'Melog?' She called out after a few minutes of climbing.

'Here. Did you get her?'  Melog replied.

'Yup. She's a tiny wee thing.' Catra frowned.

'Feed her. Fatten her up. Anyways, What's your plan for the Blood Moon? I know you're scheming.'

'Prime is planning the same thing. I decided it'd be cool if I could turn Pucas army against him, so we would have more forces to use with Prime.'

'And?'

'And I figured out the truth behind the runestones. All the current princesses have epithets. I've got Hemera. Adoras got Parvati. Glimmers got Eos, etc. Well, that's where the blood moon comes in. All the princesses can channel their mana into the moon, and it will reflect over the rest of Etheria. It would be like a mix between a Lunar eclipse and  incredibly clear northern lights with a wider range of colours.'

'Do you even know what would happen then?'

'Yes actually. The princesses would be boosted to the level of the gods themselves. Each would have complete and utter control over their element. There is more to it, but that's all I'll say for now'

'You never told me the truth behind the runestones.'

'Oh yeah. So a few eons ago, there was a pavilion of five rulers who overlooked the five planets of creation. Hespara of Eternia, Amphirite of Oceanus, Suhka of Fauna, Manevi of Glaciel, and Moros of Xaliaon.'

'And what do they have to do with the runestones?'

'Quiet! So anyways, they had an enemy. Mynam, the light. Mynam was known for being a conniving snake, and they conspired against the five. The other four begged Hespara to listen, unfortunately, she refused. But she had a daughter, Melissa, who turned her back to Hespara and joined the four. When Mynam attacked, without Hespara, they had lost a large fragment of their power. They could not win. So Melissa brought them together above the planets of creation, and they merged the planets together, into Etheria. Then, they each bestowed their hearts upon the planet. Which they divided into six. Suhka created the Kingdom of Plumeria and her heart now known as The Heart Blossom. Amphirite created Sailineus, and her heart is the pearl. But Melissa wanted to protect Eternia further, so her heart became the sword of protection.'

'Oh'

'And Moros, he was scared. He had been told in the language of the stars that the sword of protection would bring Etheria to its end, so he granted his people, the magicats, a warrior goddess to rival the one created by the first ones and powered by the sword of protection. Namir and She-ra. His heart was split in two, to match the twin planets, and he brought immortality to some of his people once they had passed. Like Circe. But the first ones could not accept it. So they began a war that would never end. Even today, after the magicats drove them out, they still search for Etheria in the hopes of finally destroying the remnants of Moros, fate itself.'

'And this actually happened?'

'Yup!' Catra seemed happy to share the information she had.

Melog shrugged, and the two continued their trip back to their ship, right back around Pucas base.

They clambered inside, and Catra pressed the button that secured the wheels on the bottom.

The spaceship shot off over Etheria.

Catra marvelled at the view of the Whispering Woods under the roseate light and Brightmoon Castle in the distance. Melog was charmed by the planet, but missed Kyrtis dearly.

'Let's stay away from the kingdoms for now. I have a plan' Catra smirked.

Melogs eyes squeezed shut. Oh lord.

---------

Angella glances up from her desk when she heard Glimner knocking on her door, most probably about the same plan she had always wanted Angella to go through with.

Angella sighed, and approached the door.

Pinching the bridge of her nose, eyes closed, she opened the door exasperatedly.

'Glimmah, I already said-'

She froze.

There was no way. This must be a dream.

But it wasn't.

Micah stood before her, smiling slightly, tears in his eyes.

'Hi angie....'

She hugged him. Tighter then she even had before.

They sobbed into each others arms, glad to be reunited. Thankful for Catra. And happy to be together.

But good things never last.
