Glimmer appeared on the mountain summit in a flash of pink.
She was on Beast island, which her parents would probably be furious about.
But this was important, she needed to find out what Prime had done to Purrsia, to Halfmoon, to its people.
She had only just befriended Catra when she had danced off to space in an oversized cigar.
She remembered Halfmoon being under beast island, so she teleported again, but missed Halfmoon entirely and ended up in the Moor edge beside the Citadel.
Glimmer was aware that she was in Azuraigh, by the gaudy expenses on display by the Citadel.
It's huge, reflective and utterly astounding in all its glittering brightness. Assortments of flowers surrounded the entire structures base, excluding only the bridged entrance.
She slips in the balcony, and takes a moment to sweep her gaze around the impeccable beauty of the place.
Though she did feel quite bad that her first time in here was uninvited and trespassing.
But again, it was meant well, and there was no one left in the remote plain of the Moor.
She glances around a wall.
The coast is definitely clear.
Glimmer starts walking down the hall, not thinking anymore on the awful possibilities of what would happen if there happened to be any one else in the Citadel.
Her footsteps echo around her, in an almost comforting way. This could help in detection of others who dare to infiltrate the Citadel.
She stops outside of a door, it's silvery glitz drawing in her attention.
She opens it, and steps inside the room.
It's empty.
All except for a box, that stands out against the crystallised walls.
She kneels by it, and it clicks open when her fingers ghost over the crest on the top.
Inside, is a crown.
It's a copper colour, with a tear drop shaped Moonstone shard in the middle of it.
She slips it over her forehead.
It is like a fancier version of her mother's crown.
She finds she likes it, and wants to keep it. So she takes it off again and puts it in the bag she had brought with her.
She picked up the box too, and puts it in beside it.
Suddenly, a gloved hand clamped over her mouth and she lets out a cry.
'Silence, Princess Glimmer'
The voice is smooth and cold, like inevitable death.
It's fear inducing.
The assailant turns her face roughly to the side, his gloves uncomfortable against her skin.
Ebony hair, dark skin dotted with starlike freckles, his eyes, dirty and cruel, stare at her with a level of boredness its almost laughable.
'Puca....' She whispers breathlessly.
'Correct, little wench'
She bites her lip to avoid being snarky with someone so powerful.
But one question lingered in her mind, How did he get here so swiftly and quietly?
He snaps his fingers, and they are enveloped in darkness.
When the light returns, they are in a different room. In Pucas palace of Shadows.
Puca ties Glimmer down a surgical table, she struggles as he secures her binds.
'What are you going to do to me?' She whispers fearfully.
He only chuckles darkly, back turned to her as he peels of the leather gloves.
He flexes his fingers for a moment, and then turns back to her.
But now, there's a miniature mist of darkness building in his palm, and he directs it at her.
And then he hits her with it.
It came scalding, rolling over her like flames of a white hot explosion, blistering her skin, charring her bones, a searing agony consumed each and every thought or word on her tongue.
After a moment, the pain receded.
But only for that moment.
It returned, stronger then ever against her flesh.
Splitting scars of many years closed, she's burning, burning with shadows.
Puca stands with a stone poker face.
He does not smile. He does not frown.
The excruciating pain of being torn apart from the inside, her heart is splitting, she cannot scream, her throat is parched with fire. Her body spasms through it, as if a thousand bolts of lightening have struck her in a single second.
She finally cries out, through the invisible flames.
'P-please s-stop!!' She croaks.
He stares at her for a moment longer, the pain still blasting, and she fears he will not stop.
But then he pulls his arms back, and they cross over his chest.
The agony finally stops.
She gasps for breath, and a woman came rushing in to offer her water for her throat.
Glimmer does not know the woman, but she is the opposite of the man who had inflicted this upon her.
The woman treats her wounds with salve, and apologises again and again for what Puca had done to her.
Glimmer is silent, feeling numb.
Time ticks on, and eventually she is alone.
Every inch of her stings.
She wishes she never left the camp.
She wishes she had other her trust in anyone but herself.
She's giving up.
She's drowning in misery.
She will not survive.
She will not survive.
She will not survive.
She could not, would not, and should not survive.
She does not cry.
