"They do seem a lot closer than before don't they?"

"They do. But what do you expect? I can't imagine how scared Lennox must've been to find her in that place. Locked away for two years? They were the closest in the group before all of this happened, and now they have an experience that bonds them which is incomparable to anything in the world, I'm not surprised they're inseparable. I'm just happy that it's over, whatever it was, because it was a nightmare."

"Yeah it was."

"Have you spoken to her recently?"

"Lennox?"

"Hm."

"No. No, we uh...we haven't spoken in couple months."

"So strange. You were both so dear to each other before and now,"

"It's just different now. She won't talk to me, she made that pretty clear when I asked her what happened and she couldn't answer me, and to be honest she didn't seem to care. She's different, don't you think?"

"A little. But that's to be expected after what she went through. But I mean the way you were when we thought she was gone for good," Jay frowned as he watched Dr Rosewood try and express his words. "It was awful to watch, I wish I hadn't have been so heartbroken myself I could've helped you."

"With what? I mean it was hard, for sure, but I only lost a friend Doc, you lost your daughter."

"Jay," The doctor said with a laugh. "We both know that something changed between you and Lennox, she wasn't just a friend by the time she went missing."

Jay stared at him. His instinct was to defend himself from the accusation, but he was so shocked at the implication that he couldn't get his words out to tell Dr Rosewood that he was wrong, even if he wasn't.

"It's okay Jay. Don't look so terrified."

"No, I- that's not...Dr Rosewood nothing ever happened between me and your daughter,"

"Relax, I believe you."

"Then," Jay shook his head, the doctor smiling to himself as he frowned. "How did you know?"
