That night, Jay texted Lennox to meet him outside of her sorority house, and since nobody was around that late at night, he stuck out like a sore thumb standing against his car when Lennox went out to meet with him. She stopped in the middle of the road in front of him as he spoke. 

"Do you really not feel anything about hurting Bentley?" 

She let out a laugh and then shook her head. "No. Why would I? He hurt my friend." 

Jay shook his head too as he stepped forward. "No. You don't care about Skye. You don't care that she was raped. Or that you've caused Bentley permanent damage. You haven't cared about anything since you got back." 

Lennox rolled her eyes. "What's your point? If you already know that then what do you want from me?" 

"I want you to admit it." 

"Admit what?" 

"That you're a psychopath." He watched her reaction, which was to go stiff as they kept their eyes on each other. 

For the first time she had no idea to respond, but her quietness frustrated him. 

"What the hell happened to you Lennox? Why won't you tell me? Are you scared?" 

"No." She glared. 

"Then what? Two years of wondering if I'm gonna get you back-" 

"You never had me in the first place." 

Lennox not only surprised herself with her response, but caused a look of true hurt to cross over Jay's face as he stepped back slightly, and refused to make eye contact with her. She frowned, confused at his recoil. Unbeknownst to Lennox, Jay was feeling a kind of pain that could only be described as being stabbed in the chest. 

He tried to keep his composure, changing the topic of conversation. "Why did you send me that photograph?"

It took her a minute to realise that he was talking about the picture of Ekaterina Quinn. "You still have that?" 

"Yeah. You mind telling me who she is and why she looks just like you?" Jay found the courage to look her in the eye.

"Did you find anything?" She asked curiously. 

"No. So who is she?" 

"I can't tell you." 

"Why not?" 

"Because I don't know."
