Jay frowned as Lennox looked around her. She didn't feel safe talking about it on an open street, but more than anything, she didn't feel safe knowing Kaila was up in the house. Something told her to go somewhere else if she wanted to talk about it, so she walked passed Jay over to the car.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Get in. If you want to know what happened then get in." She gestured to the car, and he looked around before going over to the driver's side.

He took her back to his place, and once they were inside she locked the door before going over to the couch. She hadn't seen the photograph on the table until sitting down, but when she saw it she felt her entire body go cold. He sat across from her.

"Well?"

"I told you, I don't know who she is."

"How can you not know?"

"I sent this to you because I thought you could find out who she was. A lot of help you were."

"I've spent the past two years trying to figure out who she was. There's nothing Lennox. Whoever she is, she doesn't exist, she never did."

"She must have."

"Where did you find it?"

"In the manor. Before it burnt down." She slowly looked at him, hesitant to see his reaction, but Jay was staring at her in shock.

"It...it's gone?"

"Yes. We were lucky to get out alive."

"Just..." He trailed off as he shook his head. "Tell me what happened. Please?"

She didn't even know where to start. But those five days seemed like a good enough beginning.

"I left when I did because I knew you'd stop me if we saw each other again. I was trying to protect you. When I got to the field I...I changed my mind, I wanted to see you, but when I tried to go back I couldn't get through, like there was something blocking me from getting out of the field. I tried everything, but everytime I tried to walk through my throat would close, I got thrown back, so I had no choice but to go into the manor. It was either go inside and try and save my life or sit out in the cold and kill myself faster with pneumonia. I spent three days tearing that place apart, I didn't find anything."
