"Don't do this, Ekaterina please he doesn't deserve this!" Lennox pleaded, hitting the glamour with her fist as the priestess watched Jay struggle with the chain.

"No. But you do." She raised her hand towards Jay, tightening her fingers into a fist.

Within seconds he began to bleed from his nose, then his ears, and his hands rested on his head as he yelled out in pain. He tried to stand dropping to his knees as the water in his eyes ran red down his face. Lennox threw herself at the glamour.

"No!! Stop, you're killing him you have to stop!!"

"How does it feel Lennox? To see the light of your life, the only reason for living suffer on your behalf?"

"Please Ekaterina this has nothing to do with Jay, I'll give you anything, anything to make it stop! What more do you want, I'll give it to you, he's not the one you need to hurt, just let him go!"

"The only one I need to hurt is you! Do you realise what a consequence of your breaking the cycle was? I will never see Drew again because of two of you. You've taken everything from me, and you expected me to just sit by and let it happen without punishment? The only way you experience that kind of loss, the pain of losing the one you love, is to watch it happen, knowing there was nothing you could do to change his fate."

"No,"

"You are nothing!! Nothing, but a legend, you would never have existed if it weren't for me, and you thought you could best me? If I am to spend eternity alone, then so shall it be your fate to lose what I have lost! This is what endless power bestows upon you Lennox. It could never any other way."

"No, Ekaterina it doesn't- he doesn't have to suffer, you can end it differently, it doesn't have to be this way!"

"I could. But I don't want to."

She turned to Evelyn, who forced Jay to his feet as he was finally allowed to catch his breath. But his inhale was short-lived; Lennox watched as her mother plunged a dagger directly into Jay's heart, as far as the blade would go.
