"No, God please no,"
"Lennox!!"
"Stop! You're hurting him,"
All at once, she began remembering her recent visions. In that moment, Lennox realised that what she had thought were just paranoid fears were in fact premonitions of what her mother had been planning for Jay. Each fragmented shard of her mind was beginning to crack under pressure, bringing about a kind of earth-shattering pain that rivalled what she experienced when she lost her ability to feel.
"Lennox can you hear me?!"
Her knees buckled beneath her as the energy built up in her system, and she shook her head as a way to resist the urge to scream.
"Stop, please stop it hurts! It hurts, I can't...no, no I can't take anymore just STOP!!!"
As Lennox hit the ground, she released a wave of energy that rippled across the concrete, burrowing itself so deep into the ground that it shook the very foundations of her peaceful town, shattering every window and street lamp within proximity. The sounds of her mind and Jay's voice had quietened, leaving only the countless car alarms and blistering of glass shards on the pavement to bring her back into her reality. She slowly looked up and around, lowering her hands away from her ears as she noticed the civilians around her. Every one of them was either running for help, standing up from the ground, or staring at her, but in that moment the entire world was quiet, just long enough for her to understand what needed to happen next. She needed to go after Jay. She had to go back to the manor.
