Lennox felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out, seeing Jay's ID on the screen.

"I'll be back." She tapped Skye as she stood up and walked back towards the front door, answering the phone call once she was outside. "Don't tell me, someone else is dead because of me?"

"Not quite." Jay responded with a chuckle. "I was just checking in. How you feeling?"

"Well I just found out that my dad is a drug addict and your brother knew about it, so yeah I'm feeling pretty good right about now." She answered sarcastically.

"Hold on, what? What are you talking about?"

"Long story. He was in a pretty bad state last night - withdrawal. I called Will, he came to help, said he thought it was over by now. Apparently my disappearance screwed him over more than I thought."

"Well yeah, Len, it screwed all of us over. Is he okay?"

"He was fine when I left, Will's with him now, I've got class in just over an hour so...I don't know Jay, I kind of skipped out as soon as I could. I don't feel right about it. I should be with him, but I don't know how I'm supposed to help him."

"Don't feel bad, we still don't know what's going on with you and your feelings, and with everything that just happened, seeing your mom, you've got a lot on your mind right now. Your dad's a tough guy, he'll be okay, he's got me and Will to lean on, it doesn't have to be you."

"But it should be."

"And it will be, in time. You'll get there, you just gotta be patient. I'll check in with Will at the house before I start my shift, see if he needs anything. Maybe I can see you later, we'll catch up."

"Yeah that sounds...that sounds good. Thanks Jay."

"You got it. See you later."
