Lennox watched as the priestess rose to her feet, slowly fading into the forest as she walked away. As soon as she was gone Lennox was able to move, and she wasted no time leaping up to run as fast as her feet would take her, reciting every word of the conversation the two had just had to try and remember everything before Ekaterina wiped her memory. From what she had seen of the real world through Ekaterina's lens, the manor had been restored to the way it had been when the Quinn family resided there, and if she was lucky, Lennox was hoping that the former glory of the manor had been replicated in this dream world that she now called home. In the words of the high priestess: Lennox could see her civilisation perish should she ever reach the surface. Until that moment, she was sure that she would be trapped in the confines of her subconscious until the day Ekaterina wanted her gone for good. But those words suggested that maybe it would be difficult, but it was possible.

She had no memory of being inside the manor at any point since the ritual had taken place, but she knew for certain that, since entering her mindscape, she'd not been able to leave the forest. But she'd had shelter, of which the only kind around was the Quinn residence. Fate had been kind; when Lennox finally reached the manor house and burst through the front door, she saw the fully restored décor that replaced the rundown, dilapidated residence she was used to visiting, and as of yet, she hadn't lost her memories. Perhaps it was bait - an easy way to elicit a heady response and Ekaterina was ready and waiting for Lennox to fight back, but the last time Lennox checked, Ekaterina had learned everything she knew about magic from her books. In a fully restored replica of her family home, Lennox was elated to find the Quinn's extensive book collection, not only in the basement and the study, but Ekaterina's personal collection in her bedroom.
