Y/N's P.O.V
So, today Korra and I are going on vacation into the Spirit World.
She and I walk over to the new portal in Republic City.
Korra holds my hand.
Korra: I can't believe we're actually going on vacation.
Y/N: Well, we did have to wait three years for this. I think we've earned it.
Korra: Me too.
We walk through the portal and end up in the Spirit World.
The two of us look around at the beautiful field we're currently in.
Y/N: Wow. Is this where you and Kuvira ended up after you created the portal?
Korra: Yeah, but it looked different before. I mean it looked beautiful, but not this beautiful.
We go over the edge and see the view ahead of us.
Y/N: So, where do we start our vacation, babe?
Just then a yellow Dragon-Bird Spirit flies in and lands behind us.
I smile.
Y/N: Hey there, old friend.
Dragon: (Growls!)
Y/N: It's good to see you too.
I go over to him and stroke him.
Korra then comes over.
Korra: You know this Dragon-Bird Spirit?
Y/N: Yeah, I do. You remember when we first came here with Jinora and I split off from you to follow that voice I heard?
Korra: Yeah, it was Aang's voice, right?
Y/N: Exactly. Well, anyway, while trying to find Aang this Dragon-Bird found me and took me to him. And after you left, Jinora and I found ourselves in the Spirit World alot. So, this one and I are close friends.
Dragon: (Growls?)
Y/N: That's right, bud. This is Avatar Korra.
She waves to him.
Korra: Hi.
He flaps his wings gently.
Korra: So, you can understand this Spirit?
Y/N: Yeah. I think that's part of my whole, "being created using spiritual energy" thing. I can understand all Spirits, even ones that can't talk.
Korra: Wow.
Y/N: Hey, pal. You think you can give us a lift?
Dragon: (Growls!)
I look to Korra.
Y/N: Come on, let's go.
I climb onto the Dragon-Bird and pull Korra up.
She wraps her arms around me.
Korra: Okay. Let's go.
The Dragon-Bird flies off.
(Five days later)
Korra and I have been on vacation im the Spirit World for the past five days.
It's been amazing so far and today I'm gonna propose to her.
We're on our Dragon-Bird Spirit friend.
Korra: So, where are we going now?
I smile.
Y/N: I got an idea.
I lean down and whisper into Dragon-Bird's ear.
Dragon: (Growls.)
He flies to the location.
Korra: Do I get to know where we're going?
Y/N: It's a surprise.
(Ten minutes later)
The Dragon-Bird flies down and lands on a mountain with a waterfall next to it.
And we can see the sun set from here.
Korra and I get down.
She smiles.
Korra: Wow. This is beautiful. How'd you find this place?
Y/N: Jinora and I found on one of our first trips into the Spirit World after you left. And I thought... if you and I got back together, I'd bring you here.
She turns to me.
Korra: Thank you, baby.
We then kiss.
After that we start setting up to have dinner.
(Two hours later)
The two of us are now sitting on the blanket watching the sun set.
Korra has a head rested on my shoulder.
Korra: I've always loved watching the sun set.
Y/N: Yeah, me too.
I sigh.
Korra: Are you okay?
Y/N: Yeah, I just I have something I want to ask you.
Korra: What is it?
I stand up.
Y/N: This is something I've been thinking about for a little while now and I think it's time to do this.
She stands up.
Korra: Do what?
Y/N: Well, you and I have been through alot together, right?
Korra: Yeah, I'd say so.
Y/N: And I know that whatever we face in the future, we'll get through it as long as we do it together.
I pull out the necklace and hold it behind my back.
Y/N: That's why I know I'm ready to take the next step in our relationship.
I show her the necklace.
She smiles.
Y/N: Avatar Korra, will you marry me?
Tears run down her face.
Y/N: I know this sounds crazy and we might be too...
Korra: Yes! Yes, I'll marry you!
She jumps into my arm and I spin her around.
After that I put the necklace on her and we kiss.
We pull away and I hold her close.
Korra: So, we're getting married?
Y/N: Yeah, we're getting married.
We then kiss again.
As the kiss gets more intense we lay down on the blanket.
I push myself up and pull my shirt off.
Korra then runs her hands down my body.
Korra: Are you sure you wanna do this here? I mean there's bound to be Spirit's watching.
I smirk.
Y/N: Let 'em watch.
She smiles.
Korra: Okay.
Korra takes off her top and pulls me back down into a kiss.
I start kissing down her and kiss her body.
This is a good way to celebrate getting engaged if you ask me.
