Third person perspective
Y/N, Tenzin and Bumi are packing up and put their gear onto Oogi's back.
Korra watches them and is joined by Kya.
Kya: Hey, are you okay?
Korra: Yeah, I'm fine.
Kya: (Sarcastically) Oh, now I'm convinced. What's going on, Korra?
She sighs.
Korra: Ever since Y/N came back from the South, he's been... different. Any time I try to ask him about it, he blows me off and he barely looks at me. It just seems that he's lost everything that makes him who he is.
Kya: Korra, he's just been through a life-changing experience. I mean he just found out that he was created use spirit energy. I got to imagine that's a hard thing to get past.
Korra: Yeah, you're probably right.
Kya: Plus, being beaten by Tahn was probably a knock to his confidence too.
Korra: I guess so.
Kya: Just give him some time. He'll bounce back.
Korra: Right. Good idea. Thanks, Kya.
Kya: Anytime.
Y/N calls out to them.
Y/N: Hey, guys. It's time to go.
The girls go over and join the other's.
(Ten minutes later)
Y/N's P.O.V
All of us are now on Oogi's back and following thr spirits.
We still don't know where they're taking us though.
Jinora: I think dad's mad at me.
Kya: Your father's not mad. His pride's just a little bruised since he isn't able to see spirits like you and your brother.
Korra: You both have a natural gift. That's pretty lucky.
Kya: She's right. From what I know not alot of Airbender's can do that.
She looks at Korra.
Jinora: You're the lucky one. Korra, you got to meet the first Avatar. I know about alot of Avatar's, but I don't know anything about him. Is it even a him, or is it a her?
Korra: It's a him. Avatar Wan. He was amazing. I saw how he became the first Avatar by fusing with Raava, the Spirit of Light.
Jinora: The Avatar is part spirit? Of course! Just like the statue!
Kya: What statue?
Jinora: When we were at the Southern Air Temple, I was drawn to this old carving. I couldn't figure out what it was until now. It was the first Avatar.
Y/N: Jinora, when did this happen?
Jinora: It was on the Solstice.
Korra: That's the day I opened the Southern portal.
Y/N, Korra & Jinora: Whoa.
Jinora looks at me.
A moment later Oogi touches down.
Bumi: We're here!
We get off Oogi and follow the spirits on foot.
They lead us into the nearby forest.
Tenzin: Are you sure these spirits are leading us to the right place?
Bumi: Of course. I trust Bum-Ju with my life.
We end up in a circle of rocks.
They have the Airbender symbol on them.
Y/N: What is this place?
Tenzin: I don't believe it. This is an ancient Airbender Meditation Circle.
Jinora: There's alot of spiritual energy in this place, but it feels really strange.
Y/N: I feel it too.
Tenzin: We'll have to perform a cleansing ceremony.
Bumi: What are you talking about?
Tenzin: Dad taught it to me. This site has been neglected for many years. A cleansing ceremony will help strengthen it's connection to the Spirit World.
He starts to set it up.
(Five minutes later)
After setting up dad performs the cleansing ceremony.
The ground starts shaking beneath us.
Just then Dark Spirits come flying out.
Bumi: Ah, bats! Evil bats.
We get behind cover.
Korra: Not bats. Dark Spirits.
The Dark Spirits come back around.
Korra: Don't worry. I got this.
Korra steps back into the circle and I use my Waterbending and turns into Spirtbending to trap the Dark Spirits.
This causes the Dark Spirits to disappear.
It also gets rid of the vines in the Mediation Circle.
The other's come back.
Tenzin: How'd you learn to do that?
Korra: Unalaq. He maybe crazy, but he was a good teacher.
Dad looks around.
Tenzin: The ancient Airbenders must have built this site. If we meditate here, we'll be able to enter the Spirit World.
Korra: Why don't you go first?
Tenzin: After all these years, my father's dream for me will finally come true.
(Two hours later)
For the past two hours dad has been trying to get Korra into the Spirit World.
It's not been working though.
Kya: It's okay, Tenzin. Maybe you weren't meant to guide Korra into the Spirit World.
Tenzin: No! Just give me some time.
Kya: Stop being so stubborn. It's not your destiny. I think Y/N and Jinora were meant to guide the Avatar.
He turns around.
Tenzin: Jinora will not enter the Spirit World! She's not ready for the dangers on the other side, but I am. I've spent years training, studying and mastering everything there is to know about the Spirit World.
Korra: Tenzin, we're running out of time.
Y/N: She's right. Now's not the time to let your ego get in the way.
Tenzin: If everyone would just be quiet and let me focus.
Jinora: Aunt Kya is right. Y/N and I can guide Korra into the Spirit World. I'll be alright.
He looks to us, then to Jinora.
Tenzin: Perhaps I will never have the connection with the spirits like I always wanted. Like my father wanted me to have.
Jinora hugs dad.
Jinora: It's okay, daddy.
Tenzin: I'm proud.
He looks to Korra.
Tenzin: Go. Close the portal. We'll wait here and keep your bodies safe until you return.
Korra: We'll be alright.
Dad looks to me.
Tenzin: Just keep your sister safe.
Y/N: I always do.
He then looks to Jinora.
Tenzin: Stay close to your brother, okay?
Jinora: I will, daddy.
After that Korra, Jinora and I get ready to go into the Spirit World.
