Silence filled the spacious hallway. He stared at me, and I stared back.
"And what are you planning on doing?" He asked curiously.
"I'm kind of below him, so if he finds out I snitched on him, he'll probably get me fired." I said and shrugged.
"What makes you think you'd be allowed to leave? He could kill you. I mean, there's alway collateral damage." Homelander said, and I chuckled.
"No. A-Train wouldn't kill on purpose. All the damage he's caused so far was clumsiness. Not intentionally." I claimed, and Homelander raised his eyebrows.
"And how do you know that?" He asked and got down to my level.
"Because he's not able to purposely kill someone." I stated confidentiality.
"And who is?" He asked. His eyes dark, he licked over his teeth and waited for my answer.
"You. For example." I said and watched him smirk.
"That's right. You're so clever." He said and held his head high again. "You're no longer his PA. I'll take care of that. He won't bother you again." He said and turned back to go down the way he had come from.
"Thank you. Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?" I asked, but he shook his head.
