Crystal's POV
Hall
"Judges, you should take their prize away from them!" I screamed. "They literally did the exact thing as us but mixed the music and changed the choreography to make it a whole different song!"

"That's a you issue!" The actor for the rival retorted. "If you knew we like to twist and turn pop songs to make it traditional why would you use our song? We didn't even know we used your song!" We then enforced an argument.

"Alright girls, it's just a trophy," the other actor coaxed. "There was quite a bit of difference from the two items, right? (Pauses) See? There is nothing to argue about."

"See you at the Wanderers auditions~" the rival actor responded sarcastically. We ended up panting from the intensity of the acting, but our acting coach clapped. She told us we could take a break before the dancers had to practice their dance pieces. Call that the musical really coming together now.
Nicole's POV
Everything was finally coming together, I must admit! I was better able to manage singing and dancing at the same time. I wasn't running out of breath and it all felt like second nature. Nothing felt better than freely prancing around my spot! We were going with the agenda much smoother and I was soon a light of inspiration.

"Nicole, can you teach me how to sing and dance concurrently?" A junior soon came to ask me. This came to my surprise, but also a sense of pride since people wanted to know how I did what I did. I then talked about my work in progress plan to be disciplined and manage my time properly such that I would be able to sing and dance better, reassuring her that she could always come to me if she needed more help. Yet something didn't sit well with me. How was I going to continue changing for the better form here?
Fiona Tan's POV
Dance studio
After placing my chair at its position, I went through my lines with the other dancers and then we started to run through the scene where we discussed about whether to make the call to Melody's parents about her grades. I leapt through the ground freely, gripping the file in my hand tightly. And soon came to the part of the music where I had the most important role, to decide that we the committee would make the call. I have slipped (or came close to slipping) off the chair a few times. This time, I set my mind to making sure I kept my balance throughout.

Taking a deep breath in, I dropped my file and ran to the chair. I made sure my feet had a comfortable distance between each other and did a pose of determination, before pressing the button and freezing there, symbol using that I made a call. And then we finished the rehearsals. I nailed it this time, now I'm going to make sure I nail it every single time from here on.
Lucas' POV
Auditorium
It's weird to see how just me deciding to be more patient had changed the CCA. As I was conducting "Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare," I could feel everyone being in time with each other. No one's eyes were on their section mates anymore, it was just them and the book. For me, the whole orchestra and its sound. When the practice ended, my heart swelled seeing smiles replace the frowns, the praises replacing the open criticism. Yet my heart wondered how I could keep this in place for the rest of my CCA journey and for me, how else I could nurture my patience.
Mrs Nur's POV
Being closer to Crystal frequently allows time for me to talk to her after literature and before rehearsals, usually from one point to another.

Mrs Nur: so how was your career taster?

Crystal: tiring of course, it was the fine arts but you can't always be fine doing fine arts. But the finest part was that I'm considering it.

Mrs Nur: I mean, how can your kind of illustration be that different from the fine arts? I think you've got a great switch in dreams.

Crystal: thanks, and how's your daughter?

Mrs Nur: still gallivanting around. Need her to her serious into studying because her first exams are around here. At least I don't have to consider the secondary school to enrol her in...yet. And what's your next hangout plan? A question I must ask to one of the most social people in school.

Crystal: Bali trip for the last week of the holidays. Other than that I'm doing a girl guides camp and of course I'm studying.

Mrs Nur: rest well, see you next week

Crystal: bye!
