Keqing's POV
"I'm home!" I declared after having a hearty meal with Ningguang to commentate the end of our hellish OBS that was only alleviated by socialising.

"Welcome home Keqing!" My mother greeted. "You should unpack and take a shower. Maybe shut your eyes after that if you feel tired. I mean—I have been watching the skies for you and it looked like you were caught in the rain twice."

"About the sleeping, I'm good with that. Gotta go!" I literally can't tell my mother I'm dreaming out right now. I had four days of no studying, no school and now I have to start cramming a year's content so that I don't end up retaining next year. That'll mean I can't gossip with Ningguang anymore!
Half an hour later
"Well, that felt good!" I exclaimed, drying my hair with my bath towel. I then flung the towel on my bed before scooping out my stack of physics papers my mother prepared for me for the year. Gathering one set, I stapled the whole paper together and got to work instantly. I zoomed past the MCQ section with just mere guesses, but I guess guessing doesn't work for forever. It was soon time for the open ended questions, and I felt my stomach come into a knot. How was I supposed to know what the speed of light was? What is the meaning of atmospheric pressure anyway? Then I remembered something—since it wasn't time for the exam, I was still allowed to use reference material so I had a perfect idea—I decided to turn to ChatGPT to save myself!

One of the questions asked for the answer for the definition of friction. Whipping out of my phone, I hit the keyboard asking for the definition of friction. Simple definitions like these didn't need ChatGPT after all...

Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other. I see, I thought as I copied the answers onto my answer paper. For the rest of the paper, I was answering based on my scarce Physics knowledge independently. For the questions I didn't have answers to, I either googled the meaning or asked ChatGPT...and just like that, I was able to answer the questions in half the time stated in the past year paper. I dished out the answer sheet, cross checking between my answers and the model answers. I scrapped through the MCQs, but got close to full marks for almost all the written questions. I smirked to myself as I did my corrections. If I applied this method for my sciences, I would have no problem if I tried the same method for my humanities and to a certain extent—my languages! As for my maths, maybe I'll just do practice papers until there is no tomorrow and copy all the answers for all the questions that I got correct.

For my break, I got out into my kitchen and asked my mother for coffee. She agreed and brewed one cup of coffee for me. It was a strong shade of dark brown and when I drank it, there was this strong and bitter taste, but I gulped it down and forgot all about the bitterness. The bitterness doesn't matter when it comes to an energy drink before continuing to lock in...I chugged down the whole cup and with a boost of caffeine, dashed back to practice a whole paper of A Math questions.
