Mizuki's POV
"And to our guests from Japan, welcome to Singapore! I'm sure today you'll be able to experience with your local buddies life as a Singaporean student," the Singaporean principal announced. Christina looked at me with excitement, and I couldn't help but giggle. She was such a sweetheart, and I couldn't wait to spend a day with her!

Iris' POV
Nicole was giving us a guided tour around Kallang Christian for the Japanese. Using her best knowledge of Japanese, she described each location of the school with energy and fluency, talking about the places with much enthusiasm. In turn, I could see every exchange student looking around the school with excitement as they tried to find out about our school's heritage, discussing in their home language the differences between Japan and Singapore.

Jennifer's POV
"Come in," Mr Sam said, and I led my buddy in. Honestly, I was so tempted to tell my buddy about that jerk, but I was representing Singapore, so I decided to save that tale for another time. When I led my buddy to her seat, she suddenly pointed at Crystal and blurted out, "Isn't she that girl on Instagram? I follow her!"
"Yes she is!" I replied cheerfully. "She's my really good friend." We then sat down and I talked more about A Math, to which she was somehow able to comprehend, only asking me for translations, not explanations.
School kitchen
Ningguang's POV
And for everyone's favourite activity, cooking! Unlike Ethan and Crystal, we were going to be cooking chicken curry.
Ningguang was a master in the kitchen, guiding me effortlessly in helping me identify the ingredients by just shouting out colours. She then supplied the materials for me and then brought the bowl, pouring sauce onto the chicken in the bowl and then proceeding to marinate it. Of course, she was a nice girl and decided to let me boil the curry. I honestly enjoyed myself trying to make Chinese curry from scratch, since I was always so used to curry in packets. We eventually managed to share the curry in one bowl, which looked too good to be true. The taste? It was salty in a good way, but I can't possibly adapt to the spice in one trip to be honest.
School chapel
Christina's POV
In contrast to my peers back in 3 Joy, the Japanese exchange students were all ears to the presenter, trying to soak in the atmosphere of a mission school. They felt the atmosphere with all senses about taste, simply because it's sheer disgusting to be biting on a chair to see how a church tastes. They even tried to immerse themselves in the worship songs, even though they fumbled from the lack of experience in English. My friends that go to Kallang Christian on a daily and don't really take service seriously should be ashamed.
Mizuki's POV
Concourse
"Everyone is in sync?!" She screamed as she saw the uniformed groups match with perfect harmony. I nodded, explaining the sheer importance of synchronicity in a uniformed group matching pattern. We talked about the different things a uniformed group did, like learn life skills and practice drills in the name of badges, and honestly, both of us were enjoying ourselves. Honestly, it was such an exciting day experiencing so many new things!
