Crystal's POV
Staircase to hall
Ria: You're spending a whole day in school for rehearsals?

Crystal: Yeah. Thankfully I don't have anything on today.

Ria: Wow! To be doing musical alongside Teacher's Day. I wish you the best of luck.

Crystal: Thanks!
Ria's POV
The whole western orchestra was finally in place! Everyone was on time for every segment of our pieces, and we all played with gusto. I mean it, even jokers like YZ were in the zone today. We all understood we took the time off from our weekends which were usually meant for rest and relaxation, and for some, even their own tuition. The synergy amongst us was higher than ever, and some of my fellow percussion players even exchanged glances with me during the rehearsals today! We're like a band, but not out of traditional band instruments.
Shay's POV
When we heard the sound rehearsal for the western orchestra, its Chinese counterpart couldn't afford to lose. When it was my turn to play with the guzheng, I played it with absolute gentleness because that's how a guzheng is played. Each instrument was played the way it was meant to be played, and when they came together, they formed a perfect harmony. We all looked at our individual instruments and nothing more, and I swear it's the only reason we got the results we got.
Nicole's POV
Dancing and singing at the same time wasn't meant to be an easy task. However, everyone in choir got together to prove that with practice and harmony, even a choir can sing in a different way. Surely, we had the traditional "stand and sing" performances, but I think the singing and dancing performances had a special place in my heart. Our moves had gusto, our voices did the songs we had to sing justice. It felt like we were actual wanderers that sang and danced on stage every other day.
Iris' POV
I had to dance for a segment where many dancers were crammed onto the same stage, and I honestly doubted whether we could do it. However, prior discussions with my teammates helped us to find a way to coordinate ourselves on the stage such that we weren't bumping into each other and that Crystal had a chance to shine. This was her audition, and everyone taking part in this item discussed for days and weeks to make this actually be seen on the big stage. And now, we were dancing with gentleness because the music said so, yet all in sync and our technique showing through our moves.
Crystal's POV
I was forced to put on many hats as the main character. Singing, dancing, acting, playing the piano. Yet, I felt like every part of my role was getting better every rehearsal. I sang from my heart both literally and figuratively, and now my throat wasn't berating me for singing. My moves weren't just technically "correct" or just "in sync with the rest"; each dance had its own musical theatre style and I was able to show that. My voice was always loud and clear, but acting made sure emotions weren't lost along the way. And playing the piano? I learnt that even playing with emotion mattered now. It's like I have grown so much as a creative just by immersing myself in a different form of art.
1 hour later
Ethan's POV
It's time for some Teachers' Day rehearsals! Bringing my guitar to school, the guitar tuner was provided for me and the microphone was already standing there awaiting for my arrival. To make it even better, it was already turned on. When all was done, I stood up and strummed the strings of my guitar. I let my voice blend in with my guitar, not letting my voice or guitar stick out to me. Even then, I was able to hear my technique and rhythm come together as one.
Crystal's POV
Performing for a whole day didn't really bother me, because I knew I could find a way to catch up with my work later on. This time, I decided to convey a sense of energy into my performance, because I wanted to convey a sense of hope through my next performance. Yet the energy was controlled, partly because my experience has accumulated over the months. I was able to express myself with every song I was given, even a song about a hopeful tomorrow. Maybe now, I'm able to perform both my musical set list and the Teacher's Day item well!
