Xingqiu's POV
"Alright 3 Faith," Mr Han announced. "You know what it's time for." The whole class groaned in agony because the first lesson on Thursday was always PE, but he just let a clumsy smirk.

"Come on, it's not like at the start of the year when you had to finish the round in exactly 30 seconds right? Let's move it!" The class groaned while getting up and we all started running, trying to keep our pace up to make sure we didn't have to run the round again. I did the same, trying to show what a company leader like me was able to do. Sadly, I wasn't in top form after the heavy physics all-nighter I pulled. My eyelids grew heavier as I tried to push my body to finish the round. Maybe I could afford forty winks if I finish the round in less than 30 seconds, I thought. However, that grew to be increasingly impossible as I started stumbling around, bumping into people like a zombie. In between flashes of people, I could see some concerned faces which made me internally freak out. The distance between the end and me by then was close, so I decided to get it together and push through at the end, but I crashed into people once more and then took a tumble to the ground.

I heard a few people call my name as I felt both sides of my head hurt and my eyes weren't able to open. Why did I felt that little lump on my head? Was I having a seizure of something? I struggled to keep my eyes open, and it was John and Lucas spotting concerned faces as they tried to help me up to a bench to gather myself. I tried to get up and they helped me up on a bench.

Lucas: Here, have this passes Ethan his water bottle

Xingqiu: Thanks. takes the water bottle from Lucas and drinks water

Lucas: Let me see...oh, no fever here. Did you eat anything this morning?

Xingqiu: Yea I did. My parents made me have cereal.

Lucas: That's good. Then that probably rules down to one thing—you need to get more sleep. You haven't been looking like yourself recently. How late have you been sleeping?

Xingqiu: Midnight?

Lucas: I hope it's not video games...

Xingqiu: It's not that. I'm just making sure I nail my chemistry and physics tests.

Lucas: Chill, this isn't O Level prelims. If you don't do well this term, we always have EOYs and next year to pull everything back together. But please don't freak me out any further; try and take it easy or else you're going to blank out at even the WA level.

Xingqiu: Alright. But can I skip PE today?

Lucas: Mr Han wouldn't want you playing frisbee in this state. You can sleep on my shoulder. If he asks, I'll remind him about your misery.
Jennifer's POV
3 Faith classroom
During history, we had to get into groups of 4 to discuss about Militarist Japan. Since YZ, John, Nicole and Lucas had formed one group, Christina, Crystal, Ningguang and I naturally became another group. All of us had a strong foundation on the topic, so we were quick to form our points about how Militarist Japan affected businesses. Crystal summoned Christina to the board, and she then turned to me.

Crystal: You saw the state Xingqiu is in right?

Jennifer: Yeah we all noticed. Everyone's starting to wonder if he's overworking himself as a way to cope with his A Math failure. The school week's almost ending, and all 3 Faith can talk about was how hard Xingqiu cried getting back his A Math results. But not in a mean way; the intensity is high enough to leave everyone reeling.

Crystal: Actually, I'm not sure why Xingqiu ended up the way he did. Maybe there's something we don't know about?

Jennifer: Maybe? Maybe not...well, guess we can't butt into his personal business.
