YZ's POV
Now that Lucas has updated me about Ria's progress, which was pretty decent I must admit, I was soon alerted to another problem. As a member of the brass section in my school's orchestra, I was practicing the Western version of "Omoi Yo Hitotsu ni Nare" when I realised people were playing the saxophone wrongly and Lucas had to stop because of that.
"Brass, let's go through this one more time. Everyone's timing there is still a little iffy. There's improvement, but the timing isn't fully accurate yet," Lucas informed us.
"LYDIA!" I bellowed. "Don't you know how to count?"
"YZ!" Ria screamed. "Do you know how to be considerate?"

YZ: your sister knows nothing. She sucks at timing, she can't reach the notes in time. How is she not a burden to the whole CCA?
Ria: neither of us are born naturals at our instruments. Don't you know we never choose our instruments? Weren't you in the same position as us, hmm?
YZ: so what? This is our school's 100th anniversary. Our centennial musical. It has to be perfect. We can't have jokers like her in the musical, you know.
Ria: I think we shouldn't have a joker like you in this CCA. Aren't you calling it perfect because you're biased? I know one of the members of the 8 point compass is in the school play as the main cast. And I know you're in it.
Lucas: how are you able to exploit information about us? How do you even know we're in 8 point compass?
Ria: Crystal's Instagram. Lucas, since you already apologised to me last session for being a jerk to me, can you help YZ to stop being such a jerk? It's going to prevent regression to your impatient self and it'll do the CCA some good. Kill two birds with one stone, duh.
Lucas' POV
When Ria pointed out her points and used her xylophone sticks to prove her points, I nodded calmly. "YZ, I would like to talk to you at the back of this auditorium during break time," I told him. "Let's practice some more." I continued to move my baton swiftly through the air, keeping the rhythm of my orchestra together. Everything was coming along well, and everyone's timing was getting better and better by the run. 4.30 hit, and I declared, "Break time for 10 minutes. YZ, follow me to the back of the hall."
-
Lucas: As I have come to realise, weak players in our orchestra suck, don't they?
YZ: Of course they do! We can never get anything done with them!
Lucas: alright, think about it. They have less skill but I'm sure their mouths are smaller than yours.
YZ: so you're insulting my thick lips, hmm?
Lucas: you know that was meant figuratively, hmm? I seriously think you need to learn to grow up. Hence, you should become a tutor at Starlight Centre! Honestly that has helped me stop raising my voice at Ria. You should try that too! I'll contact Ethan and Crystal and see what subject tutor they are lacking. Their community is literally booming now.
