Crystal's POV
Ever since the start of secondary school, I always loved the first day back. Yes, it was usually a time of dread but you know me—social butterfly that gets along with people of all profiles. Meeting the people I could only text after a period of time was always so special to me, and I couldn't wait to hear from there what they went through. Don't worry, I'm a sane person that only lets people share what they're comfortable with. And this first day was very special to me. I saw an adult, and this adult has a face I have never recognised before!

Crystal: Good morning teacher! You must be new to the school!

?: yes I am. Also you must be Crystal, right? I heard the staffroom is all about you.

Crystal: haha yes I am. Have you stumbled upon my socials?

?: somehow you always end up on my explore page, so that's how I got to know you. Also, do you happen to be Ong Xu Yin Crystal on the class list?

Crystal: yes I am.

?: Great, because I'll be your form teacher and assisting your Chinese teacher in lessons from today onwards. I'm Mr Harry. offers to shake Crystal's hand

Crystal: I'm Crystal. shakes his hand back So you're new to teaching altogether then?

Mr Harry:  Yes I am.

Crystal: so do you need help to get to the staffroom?

Mr Harry: I'm very well, thank you. Now, how about you head to class and talk to your friends? They haven't seen you in a month.

Crystal: oh yes, my classmates! Alright then, I'll see you later!
Ethan's POV
"Class, this is our new form teacher Mr Harry," Mdm Yeo announced. "He will also be shadowing under me for the first half of the term too for Chinese." Mr Harry waved to all of us, but throughout his introduction I realised his attention was on Crystal all this while. Great, does Crystal have a stalker now? I poked her about it and she just replied that they already had interactions so they were more comfortable with each other. That's a relief though.
Daphne's POV
"Your parents let you bring the whole 8 point compass to go Bali?" I asked Crystal in shock. She nodded enthusiastically and told me about all the adventures that they had during the 5 day 4 night trip. I told her about the things I did with my family and friends, and she in return talked about it her time in the musical. This happened while the boys took their height and weight, and the girls had an opportunity to chat with one another. We shared stories from our career tasters to our holidays, and it was a wild time I must say. Crystal is happy to be back for the people, but I'm happy to be back because I have the space to study and a normal routine.
Crystal's POV
School chapel
With the school musical coming around, my schedule was suddenly jam packed with the musical, Girl Guides, Starlight Centre commitments and my studies. Today, I was going to record the vocals for the musical as it would be released into an album once the final show ended.

In the chapel, I had to sit on the piano and play my piano solo while singing on the piano. After that, I had to get my actress for Keira to accompany me to sing our piano duet before every member of the dance groups for the school talent show scene had to record for "Omoi Yo Hitotsu ni Nare". It was true my voice was soaring at its best and the piano and voice had a smoother accompaniment. Playing the piano whilst singing didn't feel as tough, but it left me breathless, fuzzy and drained when I finished recording everything. When all was said and done, I socialised with the cast until it was time for me to record the finale song.

I guess this is the moment where our friendship test starts, huh? We knew at some point, the musical would test our friendship because Lucas, YZ, Nicole and I have to spend time apart from the rest. Yes, there's the group chat for a reason but we wanted to also make some new friends, and we had our own commitments. As the ring leader, I hope to keep 8 point compass intact for as long as I can while making sure no responsibility falls apart while I'm at it.
