Leah's POV
Leah: Today's the day~

Ethan: It is. The sacrifices we made for this moment, especially for our EOYs. Heh, Crystal. Really going out there in your NDP costume?

Crystal: Between the Symphony of Dreams costume and this, this was definitely lighter for the luggage. Besides, my NDP costume looks better with sport shoes.

Ethan: You do have a point.

Emcee: And to welcome our exchange students from Kallang Christian Private Secondary School—we will be enjoying a performance from them! Kallang Christian Private not only brings to us "Shine Your Light"—the 2023 NDP theme song when their students went to perform, but also Future Harmony, Future Hope, the ending song of their centennial musical Symphony of Dreams. Let's welcome them on stage.

Crystal: It's time.

All: Right
all step on stage
Crystal's POV

The 9 minutes we spent on stage felt like nothing to me. Having had stamina training for six months prior to this, I was able to perform the whole routine without exhausting myself. Throughout the whole performance, I felt like I was shining even with my sweat whopping around the sweat. The stage has nothing on me. My ponytail whipped on my head with me, and every step felt I was stepping on a trampoline, bouncing at every move. I ruled the stage in a way only I could, and that was all that mattered at the moment.
Ethan's POV
I was able to sit with Junjie during my exchange, where they sit students in different classes to experience lessons from a different class. And gosh, I was experiencing Chinese lessons! Isn't that unbelievable?

Since the teacher knew I understood Chinese, I was forced to read an excerpt of Chinese literature from the textbook Junjie lent me. With my background in Chinese, the characters were easy to decipher but the teacher still had to guide me for things like diction and Chinese characters that were written in the traditional format.
Simon's POV
Our cooking event was trying to cook hargao, the same dish Crystal forced us to eat the previous day. Since it was simple, it was just a matter of cooking the prawns, mincing the prawn into small prawn balls and then wrapping the dumpling up. The fact it didn't need much cooking on our side and just wrapping made the whole job a whole lot more enjoyable. Heck, they even provided their own soya sauce to dip the dumplings in! What they said was right, food is best when you put in the effort to cook it!
Peiqi's POV
We were singing a local song for the Arts and Culture Festival in our school, and since Crystal was my buddy, she was able to experience the magic I get to experience twice a week. As she stood with me in line, she passionately belted out the words, being able to pronounce them fairly well. I knew she was better than Ethan in Chinese because she's in the best Chinese class, but I didn't think she knew the language this well as when I experienced it up close. And can I say she has a legendary voice? It struck a chord with me and I wished I was recording it, because I want to listen to it forever.
