Iris' POV
I actually wonder how much money was spent paying for these white sleeveless dresses. They are so flowy, and make me feel free whenever I move around it. The cotton around me made it very easy for dance around, and the skirt shouldn't be hitting all of us because my item unfortunately is crammed with a lot of people. And yes, Crystal would be chilling right in front in a blue dress "all because she's the protagonist." Very funny, biased costume designer and playwright.
But I'm in the dance CCA and I have to finish every item representing my CCA to the maximum. Hence, I decided to adapt to the conditions and just dance in a way that wouldn't let my skirt hit the rest. I can't control whose skirt hits me, but my skirt better not hitting anyone and I definitely have enough technical control to pull that off.
Crystal's POV
When the dance item "The City's Yours" ended, I ran offstage to the music room. The teachers in charge pushed me in, where I had to take off my blue dress. With the help of some of the choir members, they helped to zip up my maroon red top while I slipped on the skirt. Dancers that were ready with their new Wanderer costume sat me down, forcing the maroon red heels on me. The teacher in charge opened the door and we took our positions at either sides of the door and at the back door. For me, I waited for my cue alongside the other four drama members to show up to sing the finale item.
Nicole's POV
When the second generation wanderer outfit was released, I internally freaked out. How was I going to dance inside such a thick costume? However, Ethan was there for me all the way. He gave me tips on how to survive dancing inside a long sleeved costume, and I found them useful present day. Wearing a camisole, just smile in front of the audience because it was our centennial musical...I knew that discipline and resilience was the way to go to finish this musical well. It's only fair if I had started it strong after all.
Shay's POV
During one rehearsal, we were told we had to dance with our long sleeved silk costumes on. The whole orchestra freaked out, until the musical director revealed it was just some simple movements, so we heaved a sigh of relief.
Nonetheless, I made sure I didn't let my guard down. Since this was made out of Chinese silk, I had to make sure I didn't tear it or else I would have to pay for the damages. Thankfully, I'm not an energy bunny like Crystal so that was an easy feat accomplished.
Lucas' POV
Everyone is basically navigating around how delicate their costumes are, and I'm no exception. To be specific, I had to conduct for all the sound effects, which meant I was going to move my hands all around the place. If I conducted the way Chloe danced for her class dance in Secondary 1, I'm cooked. And I knew that, because I had a lot of energy with me and could cause an energy combustion with Crystal, Chloe, Nicole, Ethan and YZ combined. But thankfully, I'm not as immature as Chloe and knew the costume was made out of delicate material, so I made sure to conduct with grace and elegance. All worked out in the end.
