Jennifer's POV
Finally, my own chapter! I'm happy about the direction Crystal's taking with her story. I heard she's going to give some of the supports especially the anti-heroes their own focuses! Even if it's just an international gymnastics competition as preparations to fill up my portfolio, I'm glad we're having a change of pace here. I'll get into my tale of my international gymnastics competition right away!
Dubai, India
Not the conventional place you'd think about when it's a story right? Well, my troupe and I are going there for competition where I'll be doing the uneven bars. That turned out to be my best event all these years, and whenever we had a tournament or the like, one of my events had to be uneven bars. But until the end of the year, we decided to stick with uneven bars so "I don't get stressed out by student council president responsibilities."

I got to the sports hall earlier that day to warm up and change into my shiny turquoise leotard. We did a technical rehearsal where we ran through each of our four stations before heading over to the changing rooms, where I definitely did a fan update on my influencing account. After all, I convinced them I was going to Dubai for competition through GRWM videos as I went to the airport. Once that was said and done, I decided to continue filming another to GRWM for my gymnastics competition. When I finished doing my own makeup and all, I decided to socialise with my gymnastics friends that I only meet 5 times a week, 2 hours each time as we socialised about how we spent our time outside professional gymnastics.

After my troupe's lunch, I socialised with my friends for a little longer because my competition slot was the start of the U16 uneven bars. When I got on standby, I did my usual set of warmups as I mentally prepared myself to meet the unknown. "And now ladies and gentlemen, we are now presenting to you our first item of the uneven bars. Presenting to you, Jennifer Leau from Singapore," they announced as I powdered my hands with chalk and walked onto the stage.

As I started with a salute, I got to the vault and sprung off from there as I performed a Weiler on the uneven bars, before improvising an Endo with full turn. Preparing to transition to the next bar, I handled a backward giant with 1½ turn to regular grip, surprisingly not falling on my butt while at it. Bam! I was on the higher bar now. Smoothly executing a Godwin and Healy 1 1/2, I then turned my way to the end with a Healy and landed on the floor with a Healy. There was a moment of applause, but I knew it was one of awe because I was greeted with loudest applause ever. Three months for this moment, I definitely had to wave to the camera then and there.
Crystal's POV
Crystal's home, Singapore
"SINGAPORE GOT 1ST IN UNEVEN BARS!" Chloe and I chorused as Jennifer ascended to the podium. Jennifer was dazzling confidently as she accepted the medal on her and she waved to the screen. The national anthem soon played and everyone stood at attention for that moment. The doors to our house were open but our parents just told us to sing it anyway. We ended up singing as a family near the laptop, and I'd say it was one of the few moments where as a family, we felt united. Everyone was in sync singing the national anthem for our country and for my friend that we should proud of. After all, student council president and 1st place in an international event? She's amazing!
