Crystal's POV
NAFA
"Now, let's take a look at the still life arranged at the centre of the room," the instructor told us. "Take the pencil and draw exactly what you see, nothing more, nothing less. And render in that same way too."
Sketching realistically wasn't a big issue considering I had been drawing since Primary 3 after investing all my time on an art project in school I got a C for. However, the problem was the rendering of charcoal. I pulled out my seat and saw how my seat mate did it. She was definitely an art student, not lying. She happened to notice me. "Oh, do you need help with charcoal?" She asked me sweetly. I nodded and she stopped work to guide me in using charcoal as a rendering tool.
Chloe's POV

"So now you copy this frame, yes, like this and then you change the walk frame. Now erase the legs and change it," the instructor instructed me. I nodded and erased the previous leg, replacing it with the new frame. Animating was hard, but it was always my dream. Drawing bodies wasn't an issue for me, it was making them move that was hard. But I was willing to accept this local opportunity to learn how to animate. After all, it's always been my dream.
John's POV
Raffles Institution
"The winter imagery you wrote isn't too bad," my mentor critiqued. "But the description on the snow isn't too great. Make sure when you describe the scenery, you describe every single detail. Even the smallest of details." I nodded and thought about how I was going to describe the snow. Was it pearly white? Was it cold yet fluffy? Or was it soft to the touch even with boots on?
I was living in my writer's dream there and then. Ever since I started reading, I felt the magic of words come to life for myself. Now, I was able to make those words come to life, and being selected for a creative writing this prestigious made it all worthless.
Anika's POV
Singapore General Hospital
While making my rounds around the hospital, I noticed the hustle and bustle of the hospital. There was urgency for sure, as many zooming beds zoomed past me. Yet there was always a bustle of activity in the hospital. As part of this doctor taster I was forced to spend one day doing one of the more mundane things: rounds. But I came to understand how necessary this was before we had classes in a nearby classroom about the medical skills we needed for the job.
Ethan's POV
Nanyang polytechnic lecture hall
While taking notes of observing the stock market, I couldn't help but wonder if observing the stock market was going to be my reality going forward. The day I decide to start face to face activities for Starlight Centre, I knew this was going to become a reality, no matter the future steps I take with the Starlight Centre. I could feel the atmosphere in the air, and I decided to give it my all. After all, no amount of Mdm Yeo believing in me doing business would work if I don't work my umpire up to the top.
