Keira's POV
Classroom
"Psst," I whispered into Iris' ear. "What are you going to build for the building activity that deserves our personality? It's just a Lego Duplo...pig."
"I'll just build the legs," she replied, and just placed two blocks on the table. Angered, I decided to construct a whole pig and dunk it at the legs. Mr Wang unfortunately witnessed this scene and started giggling. We unfortunately had to explain the rationale behind our sloppy building but he did realise our sloppy building had a reason, so he left and checked out the other student leaders' pigs. But seriously, why piggies? Why not puppies?
Iris' POV
Bunk
"You're seriously going to sleep like this on the floor?" Keira's best friend asked us.
"It's like 9.30 right now. Mr Wang said curfew was 10!!" Shay screamed, before dialing her number. It seemed like she was going to prank call Ethan, and her wide smile said it all. Eyes and eyebrows shifted into a smug expression, she dialed Ethan and when he picked up, she hung up. We all started giggling at this sight thinking it was a fun time with all the pranks. Christina even did the unthinkable, she led us to prank call a scammer that scammed her before! As she impersonated as a teacher in a girls school, we all got into character and started talking like it was a girls school classroom, obviously stifling our laughter to make it seem real. I hope she doesn't get arrested!
Christina's POV
Dance studio
In the dance studio, everyone was gathered into circles based on their classes. I was assigned to 1 Love, with Ethan, Iris and Ria! Hold up...did anyone know she's a student councillor? Now you know she is!
We racked our brains together, asking each other what would be memorable for a secondary 1 student, factoring in the non-affiliated students. Many games came up to the table, and a thousand rebuttals especially from Mr ex-Vice Head Prefect*. But we managed to settle with 2 games for the programme, so we agreed that we'd sleep on the discussion as a whole and come back to it later.
Ethan's POV
Concourse
"Am I really supposed to lead the final campfire song?" I asked out of confusion. Mr Wang nodded in confusion and shoved my Teachers' Day performance in my face. Well, I have to do what I've got to do, so I opened my mouth...
Our voices gelled together in harmony, and no, I didn't mean it in a concert way. My status has basically been lowered at that moment as "just another student councillor" as I was waving my phone light throughout the song. Acting like a try not to cry challenge, I reminisced over all the moments during my leadership journey, everything that has led to this. After all, the student council was the place I truly felt at home.
Shay's POV
On the way home from the camp
Shay: I really don't wanna stop being in the student council! fake cries, pretending to bang Ethan
Ethan: So you're willing to get terrible grades for student council? Because I don't mind not being in the student council.
Shay: But I got to know so many people and made so many friends thanks to student council, especially you! Hey, why are you not looking at me? Can't we have a conversation?
Ethan: I wanna have a conversation with Simon. Don't worry, I'll plan something with you.
Shay: Hey, so something with me and your other girl-friend? Because this friendship better not end at student council!
Ethan: We can let it last as long as we want, or as long as fate lets us. I'll ask her; but it's gonna depend on how busy she is. She's a hardcore social butterfly. If she's booked to the brim... turns to Simon and raises his eyebrow
Simon: What? What's with that look?
Shay: If you wanna hang out with all of us, just get the whole gang!
Simon: That means +7, y'know?
Ethan: No lah, don't make it more dramatic than this. It can be you, me, Simon and Crystal.
Shay: WOOHOO! Thanks Ethan, you're the best!
Simon: See, told you had a thing for people! grabs Ethan by the shoulder and ruffled with his hair again You better agree this time, my Day 1 brother!
Ethan: How about you become a millionaire through your own hard work and not by telling me I'm a people's person, hmm?
Shay giggles
*Ethan, but Christina only meant that because he's extremely experienced in terms of leadership and thus works differently
