"Good morning, Onee-chan! It’s morning! Wake up, Onee-chan!"

A bright voice pulled me from my peaceful slumber. I felt someone touching my cheek gently—this could only be Alice’s doing. Ugh… I still wanted to sleep. She always did this to me every morning.

Slowly, I opened my eyes.

A pretty little girl with blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes was sitting right on my stomach.

I immediately sat up—and pinched!

> "You little rascal!"

> "Itaaaiii! Onee-chan, that hurts! Meanie!" Alice puffed her cheeks and frowned.

Seeing her sulk like that melted my heart. She was just too adorable. In my previous life, I never had a little sister this cute. I vaguely remember… before I died, my mother was pregnant. Maybe my sibling is already born by now?

I stared at Alice’s face.

I invited her to the dining room. There, Mom and Dad were already waiting.

> "You two sure took your time," Dad said.

> "Ahaha, sorry, Dad. Let’s go, Alice!"

The table was overflowing with delicious dishes. Mom had gone all out—probably to celebrate my victory over Dad yesterday. She really does love celebrations.

I took my seat and got straight to the point.

Dad chuckled.

> "Yattaaa! Thank you, Dad!" I beamed.

Suddenly, Dad’s expression turned serious.

> "But listen, Avrora. If we encounter a monster that’s too strong to handle, don’t be reckless. The labyrinth monsters are different from the ones in the forest—they can use skills and magic. If things go south, we retreat. Understood?"

> "I understand, Dad."

Mom leaned toward him, worry in her eyes.

> "Please take care of her… Don’t let Avrora get hurt."

> "Don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to her."

> "Mom, I’m strong enough. I promise I’ll be fine."

> "Alright… I trust you. Be careful, okay?"

> "Thank you, Mom!"

As I finished getting ready, Alice suddenly wrapped her arms around me.

> "Onee-chan… You’re going to the labyrinth?"

> "...What is it, Alice?"

> "Don’t go. I wanted to play with you today. You always leave… I want to spend time with you."
