The Awakening and a New Beginning

After successfully freeing Ares from the ancient prison deep within the Elf Forest, we finally stepped out of the forbidden zone. Ares looked up at the sky, inhaling deeply, as if savoring the taste of freedom.

“It’s been years since I last breathed fresh air,” he said with a wide grin. “Finally, I can see the world again. All of this… is thanks to you, Avrora-sama!”

I turned to him, my expression serious. “It’s not just because of me… This is also due to my selfish wish to bring my sister back to life. We don’t have much time. We must return to my kingdom immediately.”

Ares bowed deeply. “With pleasure. I will carry out my first task for you!”

Without wasting a moment, I opened a portal leading directly to the castle. As soon as we arrived, my subordinates were clearly startled. Their eyes fell on the mysterious man beside me, filled with suspicion and unease.

“Who is that man? His aura is terrifying…”

I ignored their murmurs. My focus was solely on one thing—Yuki. Her body was still lying weakly on the bed. I turned to Ares.

“Ares, hurry… bring this child back to life.”

Without saying a word, Ares stepped forward and placed his palm gently on Yuki’s forehead. A blinding yellow light radiated from his hand. I could feel it—the warmth of Yuki’s soul returning to her body.

Her wounds began to fade. Her breathing returned. Slowly, her eyelids fluttered open, revealing those familiar eyes.

“Onee-chan…?” she whispered faintly.

Tears welled up in my eyes. I rushed to embrace her tightly.

“Yuki! You idiot! Why did you do that?! I told you to trust me, didn’t I?!”

Yuki returned my hug, tears streaming down her cheeks. “I’m sorry… I caused you so much trouble… But I’m really glad… I get to see you again…”

I gently cupped her face with both hands. “Welcome back, Yuki.”

Everyone in the room stared at us with confused expressions. I realized I hadn’t yet explained who Yuki really was.

Clearing my throat, I stood and addressed everyone. “Let me introduce someone very important to me. This is Yuki—my sister from my previous life.”

Yuki gave a small, polite bow. “Nice to meet you all. I’m sorry for the trouble.”

The reactions were mixed. Leon looked especially shocked.

“What do you mean, Avrora?”

I nodded and looked at everyone with a solemn gaze. “The truth is… I used to be a human from another world. I died and was reincarnated into this one, retaining all my memories from my past life. I apologize for keeping this from you until now.”

Rose smiled softly. “Of course that doesn’t matter, Avrora-sama. I’ve always admired you.”

Azazil added, “I feel the same. No matter who you were, we respect who you are now.”

Everyone else nodded in agreement. Their support moved me deeply.

Suddenly, Alice barged in with a pout on her face.

“Onee-chan! Who is that girl?!”

I sighed. “This is going to be troublesome…”

“She’s my sister, Alice. Her name is Yuki.”

“EHHH?! Why do you suddenly have another sister?! I can’t accept this!”

Alice clung to my arm and shot Yuki a glare.

“I’m not giving Onee-chan to you!”

Not to be outdone, Yuki grabbed my other arm.

“I won’t let you have her either!”

The two of them began tugging on my arms like kids fighting over a toy. I had to step in.

“That’s enough! You’re both my sisters, so please… get along.”

They both huffed and turned their heads away, cheeks puffed in frustration. I rubbed my temples.

“This is going to be a challenge…”

Once things settled down, I called a meeting to formally introduce Ares to the rest of my subordinates. We gathered in the council room.

I began the introduction. “I’m sure you’re all curious about this man. His name is Ares. Starting today, he will serve as my left hand.”

Ares stepped forward and bowed. “I am Ares. Pleased to work with you all.”

I turned to Azazil. “Help Ares adjust to his new role.”

“With pleasure, Avrora-sama.”

Then, I looked at Yuki. “There’s something I want to ask you.”

“What is it, Onee-chan?”

“How did you end up in this world… and why did you join the Eastern Empire?”

Yuki lowered her eyes for a moment, then looked up with resolve. “It’s a long story… But I’ll tell you everything.”

She began explaining—from the moment she enrolled in the academy, to being recruited as a soldier, and eventually becoming part of the Starator unit. After hearing her tale, I nodded.

“So they’ve been conquering territories… Do you know their true objective?”

“I’m not entirely sure… But I suspect they’re trying to take over the entire world.”

“That’s what I think too…”

Suddenly, Yuki stood up with a serious expression.

“Onee-chan! I have a request!”

“Go ahead.”

“This might be selfish… but please, save my friends—Yui and Kanon. They were turned into weapons just like me. If nothing is done, they’ll end up the same!”

I paused in thought. “How many children were turned into weapons?”

“There are four of us in this world: Yui, Kanon, Ren, and Eiji. But… I doubt Ren and Eiji will listen to me.”

“But when I saw them… weren’t there more than four? One of them could use magic, right?”

“They’re originally from this world.”

I blinked in surprise. “That white-haired girl?”

Yuki nodded. “Yes! Her name is Charlote. You know her?”

“She’s different… she can use magic.”

“Will you save them too?”

I smiled. “Of course. But before that, I need to examine your body and understand the system they used to control you. If they try to reactivate it, I want to be ready to cancel it with my magic.”

Yuki’s face lit up. “Thank you, Onee-chan!”

“And once I’ve analyzed everything, I’ll build you an even better device than the one they gave you.”

“Really?!”

“Absolutely. Leave it to your big sister…”

Suddenly, a familiar voice chimed in.

“Fufufu… Oh my, Avrora! So confident, huh?”

“Ai-chan?!”

“Hehe! I knew you’d drag me into another mess!”

“Hahaha, sorry! But I really need your help this time!”

“Sigh… You’re such a handful. Alright then, leave it to me!”
