A Strategy Slept Through, and a Drunken Kiss

After a long stroll around the royal capital of Valham, Leon and I were summoned back by Asmodeus to discuss the war strategy set for the day after tomorrow.

We quickly made our way to the war room.

But the moment we arrived—all eyes turned to us.

“W-What’s with everyone?” I whispered nervously, glancing around at the confused stares.

Leon leaned closer and whispered back, “Avrora… we forgot to change clothes.”

I looked down at the school uniform I still wore: a crisp black-and-white ensemble with a red ribbon tie and glasses. I glanced at Onii-sama, still dressed in his bright red tie.

“Ahahahaha… Oops. Guess we got carried away shopping, huh?”

Since it was too late to fix it, we just took our seats quietly. Strangely, no one dared to comment on our outfits.

Asmodeus greeted us energetically.

“Welcome! Today, we’ll finalize our strategy to defeat the heroes!”

I rested my chin on my palm and sighed softly.

Strategy, huh… What a pain. Why not just destroy everything?

“Fuaaaah~”

Before I knew it, I let out a yawn... and fell asleep. Right there in the middle of the war meeting.

Asmodeus paused, visibly irritated… but clearly too afraid to say anything.

“This girl… she fell asleep!? Seriously!?” he thought in disbelief.

Leon turned toward me, surprised.

“Eh!? Avrora… fell asleep? Was she that tired from walking around...? Oh well.”

Asmodeus cautiously approached him.

“Leon… aren’t you going to wake your sister?”

Leon stood and gently lifted me into his arms. “No need. She doesn’t need your strategy.”

Asmodeus blinked. “But—”

Leon turned to him with a serious expression.

“Forget heroes. If she wanted to, Avrora could erase this entire world. So just let her sleep.”

Asmodeus fell silent, unable to argue.

I woke up about an hour later.

A… bedroom?

I looked around, then to my side—and found Leon asleep on the same bed.

So… he carried me here?

My face instantly flushed. I stared at Leon’s sleeping face and poked his cheek.

Hehe. He actually looks kinda cute when he sleeps.

Suddenly, Leon rolled over in his sleep—and hugged me tightly.

“E-Ehh!?”

Our faces were so close. I could feel his breath on my neck. My body started heating up. T-Too close!

I slowly tried to wriggle free… and managed to escape his arms.

“Haaaah…”

A few minutes later, Leon woke up and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

“Avrora? You’re awake? Sorry, I brought you here since you fell asleep at the meeting… and I guess I ended up falling asleep too.”

“T-Thank you, Onii-sama…”
