A Storm Over the Five Kingdoms

Since Avrora’s departure to the Kingdom of Valdead, Alden, Zen, and Liza had been deeply shaken. They couldn’t accept the fact that their dear friend now stood on the side of those long considered the enemies of humanity—the demons.

Sadness and disappointment clouded their hearts, especially after King Aldric himself confirmed the news. Not long after, the five great kingdoms—held an emergency summit to address the threat emerging from Valdead. However, King Aldric of Neverland refused to attend. He refused to wage war against his own flesh and blood.

His earlier decision not to capture Avrora had already caused diplomatic tensions. Now, with rumors swirling that Neverland had begun cooperating with Valdead, the four kingdoms severed all ties with Neverland. Relations between the kingdoms deteriorated rapidly.

That day, another high-level meeting was held—this time including the Elite Heroes from each realm:

Prince Chaiden, Alden’s older brother, with long dark-blue hair and a calm, wise demeanor.

Prince Kaya, Liza’s older brother, short black hair and a sharp mind as a tactician.

Prince Grissham, Zen’s cold, silver-haired older brother with piercing eyes.

Prince Brave, Cleve’s older brother, with short red hair and a fierce reputation. His grudge against Cleve, now branded a traitor, made him more dangerous than ever.

Together, they devised a grand strategy: to attack Valdead from four directions. The strongest troops, including elite knights and royal mages, would be deployed. The operation was scheduled to begin in just four days.

Meanwhile, at the Royal Magic Academy, news spread that Prince Leon had been expelled due to Neverland’s alleged alliance with the demons. Alden, Zen, and Liza were stunned. They knew how much Leon loved his sister, Avrora.

Refusing to believe the rumors, Leon hurried back to the Kingdom of Neverland to confront his father.

“Father! Tell me the truth!” Leon demanded upon arriving at the royal palace. “Why are we siding with the demon kingdom? Why aren’t we bringing Avrora home?”

King Aldric looked his son in the eye, his voice calm but firm.
“She came back two days ago, Leon. But she is no longer just an ally of Valdead—she is their ruler. Avrora is now the Demon Queen of Valdead.”

Leon froze.
“She came here and you didn’t tell me?”

“There was no point,” the king replied. “She has made her choice. And more importantly, she brought a message—that the demons and monsters we’ve hated all our lives may not be the evil ones after all.”

“What do you mean?”

“I trust her. If Avrora can lead the demons toward peace, perhaps we’ve been the ones in the wrong. And I… I cannot raise my sword against my own daughter.”

Leon was silent for a long moment. Then he smiled faintly.
“Then let me go to Valdead. I want to speak to her, face to face.”

King Aldric nodded.
“Go. And tell her—Neverland supports her.”

---

Elsewhere, the four remaining kingdoms mobilized their armies and began marching south, gathering near Underland’s border with Valdead. Hundreds of thousands of troops assembled, including archers, battle mages, and elite knights.

Chaiden led 80,000 troops from Elmdale.

Kaya brought 110,000 troops from Arvane.

Grissham commanded 95,000 from Underland.

Brave, hungry to strike down Cleve, led 106,000 from Bravian.

A total of 404,000 allied troops stood ready to invade Valdead. Tents were pitched across the green fields, strategies were discussed, and war loomed on the horizon.

---

Back in Neverland, King Aldric issued a royal decree for Prince Leon to lead a military force to aid Valdead. With 115,000 elite soldiers, Leon began his march to the south, racing to reach Valdead before the allied armies could strike. They had just three days.

---

At the camp near the warfront, Alden, Zen, and Liza gathered under the night sky, their hearts heavy.

“Are we really going to fight Avrora?” Alden asked, his voice low.

Tears welled up in Liza’s eyes.
“I can’t do it… She’s Yuu—our childhood friend from our past life.”

Zen looked down. “I don’t want to hurt her. But we’re royal heirs. We have a duty.”

Alden clenched his fists.
“I don’t want to kill her. But if fighting her is the only way to bring her back to us, then I’ll do it.”

Liza wiped her tears and managed a soft smile.
“Then let’s all fight—not to destroy her, but to save her.”

---

Meanwhile, Leon’s forces approached Valdead’s border. There, they were confronted by a towering and terrifying figure—General Gamon, one of Valdead’s Demon Lords.

“Who dares approach?!” Gamon’s voice boomed, dark magic surging from his body. “If you’ve come to invade, I’ll crush you where you stand!”

Leon stepped forward, raising his hand in peace.
“Wait! I am Prince Leon of Neverland! We are not here to fight—we’re here to help. Neverland stands with Valdead. I am also Avrora’s older brother. I request an audience with her. We only have three days before the allied army attacks.”

Gamon narrowed his glowing eyes.
“You… her brother?”

Leon nodded.

After a tense silence, Gamon slowly lowered his guard.
“Very well. I’ll take you to her.”

The gates opened, and the soldiers of Valdead moved aside to let them through. Leon took a deep breath as the path to Valdead’s heart opened before him.

The meeting that could decide the fate of the world was about to begin.
