Demon Vampire Power

Once our strategy was set, we didn't waste a second. The dragon stood right in front of us-this was our decisive moment.

"Graaaaaa!!" Its roar shook the air once more.

"Alden, now!" I shouted loudly.

Without hesitation, Prince Alden nodded and raised both his hands.

"Ground Attack!"

The earth beneath the dragon trembled violently. Cracks split open, forming water channels, and in an instant, the dragon's legs were trapped in solid earth.

"Nice! Now it's my turn! Water Storm!"

I unleashed a massive surge of water that flowed swiftly through the channels Alden created.

"Leon! You're up!"

"Thunder Strike!"

Lightning struck the rushing water, electrocuting the dragon in an instant. Its body convulsed and was momentarily paralyzed by the sheer force of the electricity.

"Liza! Zen! Now!"

Liza reacted quickly. "Freeze!"

Zen followed right after. "Hurricane Storm!"

Zen's wind magic accelerated the freezing process. The water turned into ice within seconds, encasing the dragon in a frozen crystal prison.

"Yaaattaaaa!!"

We all cheered in unison. The dragon was completely frozen-for a brief moment, victory was ours.

"Whooooooo!!" Cheers and applause echoed from the other students in the distance.

I smiled with satisfaction. Our plan had worked.

"Good job, everyone," I said. "But we're not safe yet. We have to move before the ice melts."

But then-rapid footsteps approached.

"My turn now! Watch this! Gun Flame!"

Cleve suddenly appeared out of nowhere and launched a fire spell at the dragon.

"No! Stop! You idiot!!" I screamed, but it was too late.

BOOMMMM!!

A massive explosion rocked the area.

"Damn you, Cleve!" I gritted my teeth, trying to hold back my rage.

The dragon... wasn't dead.

"Graaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

From within the smoke, its roar came again-louder than before.

Cleve stood frozen. "What?! It's still alive?! No way!"

His fire spell had melted the ice surrounding the dragon-and now the terrifying creature rose once again.

Damn it! That foolish prince ruined everything!

I looked around. Liza, Alden, Zen, and Leon were running toward me with panicked faces.

"Avrora! Why is the dragon free?!" Liza asked.

"Because Cleve hit it with fire magic..."

"Stupid Cleve!" Alden growled.

Prince Leon was so angry, he punched a tree. "Damn it!"

"What do we do now?" Zen said weakly, gasping for breath.

"Graaaaaaaaa!!"

The dragon lunged forward-its tail swinging toward Cleve.
