The God's Sin and the Rise of the Avenger
Twenty Years Ago...
Before the world was ruled by the cruel goddess Minerva, it was once guided by a merciful god-Ceres. He was the guardian of harmony, the keeper of balance between dimensions, the calmer of chaos, and the protector of all living beings.
But twenty years ago, destruction loomed.
When the battle between the Hero and the Demon King tore a rift between worlds, that crack became a gateway-an interdimensional black hole. Ceres descended to mend the breach and restore balance to the universe.
Amidst a storm of raging energy, Ceres stood alone at the edge of time and space, hands raised toward the heavens, casting divine-scale restoration magic. But then-a dark figure draped in gold-trimmed black emerged from the dimensional rift.
"Well, well~ So diligent, aren't you, Ceres," came a soft voice laced with mockery.
Ceres turned sharply. "Minerva...? Why are you here?!"
"That's my line. Why are you alone? Where are your guardians?"
Without waiting for an answer, Minerva snapped her fingers. Dozens of winged entities with violet eyes surrounded Ceres.
"Kill him," she commanded coldly.
Ceres stood tall, divine light magic radiating from his body. But he was vastly outnumbered. Attacks rained from every direction. Light and shadow clashed, tearing through the fabric of space.
"Have you gone mad, Minerva?!" Ceres roared as he struck down three black-winged entities.
"Mad? No. I'm merely claiming what should've been mine all along. This world... is unfit to be ruled by you."
While Ceres was distracted, Minerva leaped into the air, summoning a massive, dark-purple spear glowing ominously.
"Farewell, Ceres," she sneered as she hurled the divine spear, a weapon that devoured the light of the stars.
"CIHH-!"
BOOM!!!
Ceres's body vanished in a blinding explosion of light. And thus, the world slowly fell into Minerva's grasp.

The Present Day
I sipped warm tea at a small table, listening to Ai-chan's story. With one leg crossed over the other, I whispered, "So... you're the god Ceres? And that light... the explosion that killed all of us-that was Minerva's doing?"
Ai-chan chuckled softly. "Yes. I'm sorry, Avrora. I failed to seal the rift, and instead... I dragged all of you into it."
I let out a long sigh. "Then why did I become a half-vampire in this world?"
She giggled. "That... was actually intentional. I managed to save five souls caught in that blast. I planted each of you into the bodies of royal heirs. And you, Avrora-were my chosen one."
I glared at her. "Then why was I the unluckiest?! Turned into a vampire, exiled, forced to suffer-!"
"Hahaha! Sorry, sorry! I couldn't resist your expression! But it was all part of the plan... You're the only one who could withstand my divine power. My body's destroyed, so I chose to merge with you."
I lowered my gaze. "Then... Alice's death? Was that part of your plan too?"
"Yes... your final trial. But don't worry. Once you inherit the god's power, you'll be able to revive her. You'll evolve beyond a mere demon. You'll become a Demon God-a half-divine being, the ruler of both destruction and life. You'll stand above all... even heaven itself will tremble before you."
