The Floating Island of Arcland – Meeting of the Demon Kings

Today, I was truly treated like a queen. The servants lined up neatly, presenting luxurious dishes across the long table that overflowed with mouthwatering aromas. I had no idea why they suddenly acted so courteous. But—ugh, whatever! Rather than worrying about it, I might as well enjoy all this food.

“Huaaaahhh~ so delicious!”

I devoured the feast with a satisfied smile. My tongue was spoiled by the tender meat, fragrant soup, and warm bread that seemed to melt in my mouth. The taste was so exquisite I nearly forgot where I was.

“Avrora, you look really happy!”

That voice… Leon. He strolled in casually and sat down right in front of me, completely shameless, as if nothing had happened last night.

Ugh, seriously! Doesn’t he have any shame? After everything between us, how can he just sit there like that?

“Hmmhhpp!” I turned my face away on purpose.

“Huh? What’s wrong with you? Are you mad about last night?”

Unbelievable. Leon really is dense. Why does he have to say it outright? Obviously it’s because of last night, yet he pretends not to understand.

“How can you act so normally after what happened, Onii-sama?” I asked with a sharp tone.

“W-well… sorry! Honestly, I was a little awkward too, but I just tried to act normal. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be even weirder?”

His answer silenced me for a moment. He had a point. If we stayed awkward, our sibling bond would crumble. Maybe I should also try to act normal.

“In that case, Onii-sama, let’s set that matter aside for now. We still have plenty of tasks ahead of us.”

“You’re right! You really are clever, Avrora.”

That carefree smile… it was the first time I had seen him smile so lightly in a long while. Had he truly accepted my feelings from last night? I wasn’t sure. But just remembering the words “I love you” that escaped my lips made my cheeks burn hot.

“Avrora? Why is your face turning red?”

“Ahhh, it’s nothing! Hahaha…”

I tried to hide my embarrassment with a clumsy laugh.

The next day, according to Leon’s plan, Drake summoned the Demon Kings for a meeting. The location was no ordinary place—it was the floating island known as Arcland, a sacred land that had long served as the gathering ground for the rulers of demonkind.

When we arrived, I was left speechless. The island truly floated in the sky, drifting gracefully among the clouds. From above, the scenery below was breathtaking—silver rivers glittered like ribbons, green forests stretched endlessly, and a cool breeze gently caressed my cheeks.

I walked alongside Leon toward the grand castle at the island’s center. Inside, the Demon Kings were already waiting, seated around a long table of black stone. The moment we entered, every eye shifted toward us—cold, calculating, weighing us silently.

Leon took his seat calmly, while I stood behind him.

“Oi, Drake, are these the ones you mentioned? Are they really that strong?”

A demon in the form of a scarred werewolf scoffed dismissively.

The others remained silent, arms crossed, as though testing us.
